After drying themselves, the four friends joined the others who were currently taking shade under the mangrove tree.

Chand and Xena had already joined Vin, Ellis and Zaxton a while ago. The five of them were relaxing and enjoying the summer breeze when Declan and the others joined them.

"How many days will we stay in this town again?" Chantal asked to no one in particular as she sat beside Chand. The others only shrugged at her for they didn't know.

"Avery was the one who wanted to come here so it's better if we ask her," Phoebe answered her, taking a seat beside Vin who's quietly reading a book.

"Where is she anyway?" Chand asked, looking at his friends.

Pierre pointed his index finger out to his right, "She's with Kali. They're still talking."

"What are they even talking about that they don't want any of us to hear..." Declan wondered as he plopped himself between Chantal and Chand making the girl groan because she had to scoot over and it's taking too much effort.

"Oh! By the way, you guys, Zaxton offered his place for us to stay," Ellis said to the group.

The mention of his name caused Zaxton to look away from Kali and Avery from the distance and towards the group. "Is that true?" Xena asked as the aforementioned guy sitting across from her nodded with a smile.

"If you guys don't mind a house rather than a hotel with extra services that is. I don't really mind having a few more guests," he shrugged.

The others instantly agreed to his considerate offer. "Thank god! I don't think I'd survive another hour or two of sitting in a cramped van while going through different hotels," Chantal let out in relief as Phoebe chuckle at her.

All nine of them soon stood up as they saw Avery and Kali were done talking and were now making their way towards them.

Pierre walked forward to meet Avery halfway and soon the two were walking side by side while Kali walked behind them. Pierre likes to stay close to the youngest.

Seeing this, Kali let out an endearing smile.

"Finally! You guys really took your time," Xena rolled her eyes.

Avery took a quick glance at Kali but settled for a smile as they reached the group and decided to divert their attention, "Where are we headed off to?"

"Zaxton's place," Vin answered.

This caused Kali to look at her brother who's now standing beside her. The lad only smiled at her as both of them followed closely behind the others who were now heading off towards the parking space.

"Thanks for doing that," Kali thanked Zaxton. The boy hummed, facing his sister as he softly patted her head.

Their little moment didn't went unnoticed by Kali's friends. Ever since lunch, all of them were curious as to what's the relationship between the two. It was the first time they saw and met the guy.

They couldn't help but wonder if she had already moved on from Chand after just a few months of breakup.

Chand, who has been silently observing the two, only looked away from the pair. The sight of his ex with another person seemed to have stirred old bitter feelings deep from his guts.

The two were oblivious to the other's looks and thoughts though. Even more so when Kali who was doing fine just a while ago, suddenly felt her body going weak.
