The sound of the bedroom door being opened caught the attention of everyone who were staying in the same room. "Oh? Look who's back from his little date," Ellis smirked at the eldest who had just entered their shared room.

The five are actually sharing one room since the space was big enough to accomodate all of them. They also thought it'd be quite fun to have everyone gathered together in the same room.

Chand looked at Ellis with a blank expression. He then removed his hoodie and threw it towards the younger one.

"Shut up," Chand grumbled as there was nothing more that he could say. Even if he were to deny the word 'date', he knew that the rest wouldn't believe him and they'd for sure just tease him instead for denying it.

Ellis cracked up at Chand's dry response, he could tell something was going on with their eldest just by looking at him.

"Zaxton told us that you guys went for a walk," Vin remarked as Declan nodded beside him.

"Ah, yeah. We did," Chand answered mindlessly, his thoughts remembering just this morning how he found out that the aforementioned guy was actually Kali's brother. He can't believe he almost felt jealousy towards him.

Was I really jealous? He thought.

Chand's silent internal battle with himself seemed to have caught the others. With Chand's eyebrows in a furrow, all the other boys could tell that he was in a deep thought.

"What's wrong?" Pierre decided to ask the eldest.

"It's nothi— actually, Kali had told me what really happened that day," Chand shared as he also recalled his ex-lover's confession. Although his expression turned cold as soon as he mentioned what Kali had shared to him.

The others looked at each other when they noticed the change in the eldest's demeanor. When just a while ago he looked so confused and bothered but now it's as if he wanted to kill someone.

"That day? What do you mean?" Ellis carefully asked.

"The day when I saw her lip locking with a stranger. She didn't cheat on me," Chand paused as he needed to take a deep breath before continuing.

The other immediately caught on to what he meant. Declan and Chantal had told the rest of them how a few days ago the two had the talk.

Chand hated the thought of how Kali had experienced one of the worst things that could happen for a girl, more so, he wasn't there to protect her. He could feel his conscience eating him up.

"She... almost got raped," Chand continued, his tone dark and angry as if he wanted to lash out but forced himself not to do so.

"What the fuck do you mean by that?" A feminine voice joined there conversation, one that mirrored Chand's tone.

It was dark and angry but the fury behind it couldn't be contained because when they saw who had just spoken, they knew they had to thread carefully.

She was a ticking time bomb.
