-.--.-..-.-...-

"It would've been really nice if the others are here too," Chantal commented as she reached for a bite-sized apple tart.

"That's true. It's been a while since all of us had gathered," Declan added.

Chand and Kali nodded at their words. A soft gust of wind blew and it brought a refreshing feeling for everyone especially to Kali who has been staying indoors for quite sometime.

The four were having a small picnic just outside the hospital. The hospital was big, big enough that a small outdoor spot was built that anyone could access and lounge anytime.

"By the way, I have always wondered about this, how did you the two of you meet?" Declan asked. He truly is curious. He usually doesn't like to meddle on something he feels like he shouldn't meddle with but the meeting between the two had always been something he wanted to know.

As Chand was someone who doesn't really like to interact with people whom he's unfamiliar with and Kali, at that time, was basically a stranger to the group, Declan was very surprised when he saw his friend starting a conversation with someone they haven't met.

"Oh, yeah. He already seemed to know Kali during that time," Chantal added, also thinking about that exact memory where she saw Chand approached Kali.

Kali smiled and looked at Chand, who couldn't seem to meet her gaze. Chand's ears were becoming bright red, a telltale sign of him being embarrassed about something.

"What? What?" Declan became even more curious. His expression mirroring Chantal's as they both look at Chand.

"Is it something you can't speak about? Is it something embarrassing?" Chantal coaxed Chand into spilling some tea.

Kali chuckles at his state as he became even more embarrassed. "We met at a small beachside cafe," she said.

"Oh! Well isn't that quite romantic for a first meeting," Chantal gushed at the small information. She truly thinks it is.

"And then?" Declan asked.

Kali paused to think. She didn't really know what and how much to share but before she could even speak, Chand beat her to it, "We talked for a few and then parted ways. It was a short meeting."

Chand gave Kali a pleading look, there first meeting was a memory he didn't like to share and it was only because he did something so out of his character that he know their friends would tease him about it once they'd know.

Kali laughed as she could read his thoughts, like always.

"Yup, it was a very short meeting."
