The weekend passed by in a blur and finals week eventually came, much to the students' dismay.

The university's atmosphere became tense as the week started. Everyone had been so busy focusing on their studies, trying to absorb every last bits of details that they could before their exams on that day would start.

The same goes for Chand as well as the others. If it wasn't for Chand's mother pressuring him into getting a good score then he wouldn't even exert the least bit of effort.

"Five more days and I'll finally have that long-awaited vacation," Chand groaned out as he slumped down in his seat, taking a break from his cramming.

"Ah, fuck. Why does five days feels too long?" Declan complained as he stretched his arms and legs out when he felt his back becoming uncomfortable from sitting for too long.

Chantal glanced over the two who were busily enjoying their short break. The two boys always hated exams, no matter what kind it is. Yet they always ace every single one of it.

Which explains why the two are currently taking a break even when their exam is going to start in less than an hour.

Chantal let out a deep sigh, feeling envious at their laxness, as she reread her index cards which contains the topics' key points she had written down last night.

The three were in one of those study rooms in the library wherein at least ten people could fit. Chand had made a reservation for it for the whole week, courtesy to his mother who's given him special access.

It worked wonders for their group.

Staying in the public hall of the library would definitely not work for them since the place would be too crowded from cramming students. The outdoor spaces wouldn't work as well. So, the study rooms were the only option.

"Shit. It's almost time. We have to go," Chantal picked her things up and so did the two boys.

As they reached the examination room, students were quickly filling in as their proctor also arrived.

"Okay, everyone settle down now. We'll begin the exam as soon as all of you are seated."
