"Xena... calm down, okay?" Ellis calmly spoke up.
"Don't fucking tell me to calm down when I just heard how one of my closest friend almost got raped by a fucking stranger!" Xena angrily said. Her words made everyone shut their mouths.
The realization of how Kali had almost been raped by someone brought a heavy feeling to each of them. There they were blaming Kali for 'cheating' on Chand yet in fact, it wasn't really the case.
It was far from that to be exact.
Guilt swell deep inside the rest, even Ellis and Vin who had stayed neutral couldn't stop but put a blame on themselves. If they had tried to stop the others from judging Kali and instead wait for her to explain, then they could've at least helped her.
"Who was it? Do you know the guy?" Xena gritted her teeth as she tried to calm herself down.
Unfortunately, Chand's response had only driven her emotions mad when he shook his head to her question.
"Hey, Xena! Phoebe's been looking for... what's with the atmosphere here, you guys?" Chantal, who had a bright look on her face as she spotted her female friend, had a confused look.
It was morning and they were in the middle of vacation so aren't they all supposed to be feeling happy and having fun? But the atmosphere was the complete opposite.
"Seriously, what's with the glum look? Did something happened?" She asked once again.
"I think it'll be better if Phoebe and Avery will join us too, they need to know as well," Declan spoke up for the first time. He thought that it was an important matter regarding their friend and that all of them should know.
The rest of the boys agreed and Pierre volunteered to call the other two. Soon, all nine of them huddled up in the boy's room.
Chantal, Phoebe and Avery exchange looks of confusion towards the other. "You guys are making me nervous..." Avery said worriedly.
There was a pause before Chand decided to tell them everything.
The eldest relayed each and every single words Kali had told him. He didn't leave anything behind, except for when he comforted Kali when she broke down in front of him.
Anger, guilt and regret washed the entirety of the whole group as they heard the eldest. Mixture of emotions were felt by each and every one in the room.
But they all thought of one same thing—they owe Kali an apology. A huge one at that.
