-.--.-..-.-...-

As soon as the group arrived back at the villa, they immediately went to prepare for the bonfire.

"Hey, I just need to get something in my room. I'll be right back," Kali said to no one in particular and dashed out from the scene. It was a good thing that the others were very busy as they didn't noticed Kali's paling face.

However, someone actually did. Zaxton decided to follow his sister back to her room.

"Lili?" Zaxton knocked on her slightly ajar door. Not hearing any response from her, he became worried.

"I'm coming in, okay?" He went inside her room without waiting for a reply.

And there he saw her, sitting on the floor with her back towards him. He walked towards her and crouched down. "Lili?" He called her name softly.

Kali faced her brother, a look of desperation could be seen in her eyes. "Zax, what should I do?" She asked.

Zaxton couldn't comprehend her question until he saw what was in her hands—empty vials which used to contain her medicines and heavy painkillers.

Kali had been taking her medication and some painkillers every night. He always sees her taking them. He was always the one who reminds her of it.

But now, there was not a single capsule that remains. And Kali, who's been feeling pain that intensifies with each passing night, would have no way to fend it off.

That would mean she'll have to suffer for the continuing days unless they'll be able to find a pharmacy that actually sells her medications and those heavy painkillers.

Not knowing what to say, Zaxton could only hug his sister. "I'll try to look for it tonight, okay?" He said against her hair as his hand rubbed her back, trying to comfort the girl.

Kali nodded, "Okay."

"Are you okay for now though?" Zaxton asked as he broke from the hug. His eyes showing concern.

"I... think? There's pain but it's still bearable," she answered honestly.

Knock. Knock.

The siblings looked at the bedroom's door. "Kal? It's me, Avi," the voice behind it spoke.

"Come in," Kali answered.

The youngest came in and saw the two sitting closely to each other on the floor. Her eyebrows furrowed, "What's wrong? Did something happen to her?"

Avery rushed forward, putting her hands on Kali's forehead and inspecting the eldest girl. "You're looking quite pale," she commented.

"I... I'm out of meds," Kali admitted while looking down, unable to meet the youngest's gaze.

Avery nodded, "Don't worry, I'll call my brother and ask him." Without skipping a beat, the youngest did what she said, eager to help her dear friend.
