"Hello, Sebby? Have you arrived there yet?" Avery quickly answered when she saw her brother calling her.

Pierre glanced at Avery when he saw her making a worried face, which is unusual since she'd usually be happy whenever she'd receive a call from her brother.

"What do you mean by that, Sebby?" Avery's voice raised a notch higher than it used to, visibly showing she's becoming anxious which caused not just Pierre but also the others in the van to become curious as to what it was she's talking about over her phone.

"No, no. That would be unlikely. I doubt they even went somewhere since it's still too early."

But Avery didn't mind the listening ears in the van, she couldn't. All she could focus on was the very worried voice she could hear from her brother. She knew that something wrong must've happened, she could feel it in her guts, but she refused to believe whatever it is her guts is trying to tell her.

She's not prepared for whatever bad news she might hear.

"I told her that you were already on her way there."

Pause.

"Okay, okay, I'll hurry."

Avery immediately ended her call and faced Declan, who's the current designated driver. "Declan, can we go back to the villa?" Her voice slightly shook as she spoke.

"What?"

"Why?"

"What's happening?"

Different questions flew towards Avery as soon as she asked Declan. But, again, she didn't mind them and pleaded Declan for the second time. "Please? I think I left something important there," Avery reasoned out. She didn't want to cause panic to the others as she herself hasn't confirmed anything yet.

"You think?" Pheobe asked, definitely confused as to why Avery was acting out of the blue.

"Yes! Just please!—Can we just go back? I really left something important," Avery couldn't help but to raise her voice as the anxiety in her heart grew. She really needed to go back and make sure that Kali is alright.

"Okay, fine. I'll make a u-turn. But you have to tell us what's making you so agitated," Declan glanced at the rearview mirror where he could see Avery's figure.

Left with no other choice, Avery nodded her head.

"After. I promise to tell you guys after we get back to the villa."
