"You should've waited for me at your place. I could've just went there to pick you up, you know?"

Kali took a glance at the boy beside her and smiled even though his trained eyes couldn't see it as he was busy focusing on driving.

The two were on their way to the small town's center to have some lunch.

"That's okay, Zaxton. Your place isn't really that far from mine anyway. Also, I do enjoy a few minutes of strolling," Kali looked out from the rolled down windows of the convertible car as the wind harshly blew her hair in all sorts of direction.

She enjoyed it without any care while sporting a wide grin.

Zaxton only sighed as he heard her answer. "You do know that you ought to take more care of yourself, right? And that includes not doing any stressful activities that could burden you," he nagged.

"Yes, I get it, brother."

Zaxton only rolled his eyes as he continued on driving. Even after meeting her fairly recently, it was enough for him to know how stubborn his younger sister is.

As soon as they arrived in town, the two immediately went inside a dainty bakery and ordered some food.

The two ate in comfortable silence.

"Aren't you curious?" Zaxton suddenly asked causing Kali to look at him with a questioning expression.

"About how I know you even before you've introduced yourself to me," he continued.

Humming, Kali took a small sip of her cold drink while nodding her head softly, "I am, actually, but I figured that if you didn't want to talk about it then that's fine with me."

Zaxton smiled at his sister, he couldn't believe that he had only met his cool sister not too long ago. He had always wanted a sibling. Being an only child sucks, in his opinion.

"I saw you then, the day when you asked father for some money."
