-.--.-..-.-...-

Sunday came. Some had woken up a little early than the rest and started preparing breakfast for everyone.

Although most of them were used to being served by their exclusive family chefs and maids whenever they're at their respective homes, they all wanted to enjoy their time together without any outsiders.

Moreover, they were all independent. They abhor other people who are only spoiled rotten by their own parents.

Vin, Chantal, Phoebe were in the kitchen cooking while Pierre and Avery were sipping coffee by the poolside.

Ellis and Declan were playing games on the huge LED screen by the living room while Xena was prepping the plates and utensils on the dining table.

Already done with his shower, Chand went back to his bedroom after changing. He knew that the others were already up base from the noise coming from downstairs.

He could hear the boisterous laughter of Ellis and Declan, as well as, Phoebe's shrieking from god knows what.

Entering the kitchen, he greeted the others with a smile and a 'good morning'.

But it soon faded as he heard Chantal's words, "Hey, can you wake Kali up? The food's almost finished."

"Why does it have to be me?" Wrinkles formed between his eyebrows as he frowned at the short girl.

Vin peaked at the two over his shoulder, "You're the only one who's doing nothing." He then faced back the stove and continued whatever he's cooking.

Chand looked over at Phoebe and had a thought, "Pho, I'll sub for you, so go wake that girl up."

The girl looked at the eldest and shook her head. She was about to say no but a shriek came out of her mouth instead after hearing the oil from the cooking pan pop and splatter.

Chand went to grab the frying ladle from her hand but her grip tightened. She smiled forcefully at the elder for she was truly enjoying it and didn't want anyone to cut her fun short, "I'm fine with this, thank you. Now, just go."

"Go where?"

Looking behind them, Pierre and Avery were by the countertop returning their used mugs and was about to wash them.

"Kali's room. Chantal asked him to wake her up," Vin answered.

"Hmm, I'll do it then!" Avery volunteered then immediately went to wake the eldest girl leaving the five individuals gaping at her.

And just like that, Phoebe rolled her eyes as she saw the eldest smiling widely.

"Saved."
