I was shocked when Rock told me they were cousin's and wondered if anyone else knew. Bellatrix would of told me if she knew and she seems to know -almost- everything. Which means I am probably the only one who knows. Rock wouldn't tell me Frostee's age even though he knew it would upset him. I don't know if he didn't tell me just to anger me or because Frostee really didn't like it. My heart pounded when I got home from school because tomorrow I would see Frostee and honestly, I was not looking forward to it. However, Rock did say that these 'hang outs' didn't amount to anything, so I shouldn't be anxious.
"Scarlett are you home?" My mother called out.
"Yeah." I set my keys down on the entry room table. I tore my jacket off and made my way toward the stairs before my mother appeared in the hall. She had on her regular work attire as I assumed she just got back from her interviews. I took one step up the stairs then stopped to look back at her.
"Do you remember Brandon?" She asked me.
"The expensive looking neighbor." I described him and Blair frowned at me. "How could I forget."
"Well," She started dragging the well out, "He invited us to dinner with his family Friday night." I stepped down from the stairs and held on to the railing.
"What do you mean?" I asked bluntly.
"Wha-Scarlett." She shook her head at me. "He invited us to go eat food at his house with his family." She explained to me talking with her hands as if that helped "Friday evening." She added.
"No. I have plans." I started to run up the stairs.
"This is not an option Scarlett Isobel." I groaned loudly. "It is semiformal attire and be ready by 4:45!" My mother yelled after me.

I tapped my foot anxiously and stared at the entrance road of our school grounds waiting to see the blue chariot. Bellatrix and Roxy stood on either side of me acting more anxious than I was feeling. Trix tried all week to figure out his age and she still couldn't crack it. I asked Rock again this morning, but he ignored me and changed the subject to the packet. Tomorrow's dinner party wouldn't leave my mind as much as I was dreading it I couldn't stop thinking about it. I would either end up killing myself to just quietly get through it or have to double mask it. It will be agonizing. Not only am I forced to go I am forced to dress semiformal. What kind of dinner party is semiformal? I did not want to have anymore interactions with Mr. Brandon Chase and now I was going to meet his family and that meant my mom and him will probably flirt throughout half the night. Tomorrow night was going to be exhausting.
"You two are leaving the second his car shows up." I snapped at them.
"Yes ma'am." They both said and did a sarcastic salute. Just as I turned back it showed up. The roar wasn't as loud as I remembered. I wondered if he turned off his tune and why he did in general.
"See ya!" I sneered at them.
"You are telling us everything!" Trix called after me as Roxy had to drag her away. I didn't tell either of them about Rock being cousin's with Frostee and how he knows his age and 'dating' routine. The wheels shined as if he polished them just before he arrived and he stepped out of the car taking in his surroundings. He had on a dark gray button up and dark jeans. Let me just mention that those buttons were holding on for dear life. His chest was broad. His sleeves were rolled up his forearms showing off the slight muscle tone they contained. His black hair was straight as it rested on his neck and his black curtain bangs were styled to slightly curl away from his face showing off his bright green eyes.
