The sky was covered in a black sparkly fabric, the sparkles indicating each star in the sky. I drove down my street glancing at the white house which belonged to the friendly neighbor and saw an ominous moving shadow by the side of the house. I was curious, but too tired to care much about it. Not bothering to look any further I pulled into the drive way and see my mothers mini cooper parked in its designated spot next to mine. We would use the two car garage that our house provided, but it was still filled with the endless amount of moving boxes. I locked my car and entered the dark home. It seemed like all the lights were off until I spotted a sliver of light coming out of the study from down the hall. Silently making my way towards the light I wondered why my mother would still be up at this time it was almost three A.M. She didn't usually wait up for me. I peek through the door and see Blair holding a wine bottle pouring it into a wine glass that already had her signature lip color stamped onto the rim. As soon as she filled the cup she started drinking it before she even set the bottle down on the dark oak table standing beside the brown leather chair she sat in. I slowly back away and made my way up the stairs knowing this couldn't have to do with me and something else must me troubling her. My mother never drank because of her job. Even when she had hard days she always knew how to deal with work like every mature adult should. I couldn't figure out why she would be drinking. The only other time I had seen her drink like that was when my father died. I know losing James broke her heart even if she wasn't in love with him. She still loved him. I wanted to figure it out, but my mom and I weren't close enough for me to just go up and ask her. 'So why did you drink a whole bottle of wine last night?' Yeah that doesn't work for us. Now that my dad is gone it was hard to not have a parent I was close with. It was like I was living with a roommate not a parent. Stripping my clothes off, I hopped into the steaming hot shower and let the warm water relax my muscles. Noticing how they felt I realized I had no muscle. Nada. I use too, but I didn't really have a reason for them, unless someone tried to jump me. I remember how easily it was for Rock to drag me across the whole plain. I touched my flimsy arms and scoffed at myself.
"Not next time asshat." I spoke to myself as I turned the shower off. After I prepared for bed I climbed under my blanket covers and settled in. I snatched my phone off the bedside table where it had been charging and opened the browser page. I searched local athletic clubs and gyms. There was one next to the school, but knowing that meant that most of the student body probably went there so that was a big no. Then I saw one downtown that was a combo weights gym and had boxing rings with punching bags. Strength training. That's exactly what I am looking for. Planning to check out the gym tomorrow I saved the map directions to my phone and locked my screen. Staring at the black screen I thought about Frostee's number now being on my phone. I typed my password then opened his contact. I wasn't going to text him. I wasn't even planning on it, at least for the next few days. However, I just wanted to look at his contact as if his name typed in my phone and the little snowflake next to it gave me the answers to the type of guy he was.

My high ponytail wasn't too dramatic, I thought as when I walked into the gym while everyone stared at me. Stepping up to the front desk a man with huge biceps, a bald head, and a big burly red beard stood behind it looking at something on the desk.
"Hey I was wondering what kind of memberships you offer here?" I asked him. I would of rather just looked on their website, but besides them placed on google maps they were nonexistent on the internet.
"Memberships?" His voice was deep and rough like I assumed.
"Yeah." He hummed looking me up and down. My figure was tiny compared to him, but that didn't give him the right to stare at me like I was a useless Barbie doll. "Listen up lumberjack, I came her to workout, now do you have a membership to sell or not." I stated clearly. He raised his brows then furrowed them. He handed me a punch card.
"Five dollars a day, eight for the whole week, and twenty-five for a month. Once you fill the punch card you get a free drink." He said pointing a thumb to the cooler behind him.
"Thank you." I snatched the card out of his hand, searching for the women's locker room and darted towards it. I found an empty locker in the corner and stuffed my bag in it. I already had on black workout leggings and a dark purple sports bra, but I tugged off my zip up hoodie and stuffed it in the locker along with my belongings. I snatched my white headphones setting them over my head and headed back out to find the dumbbells. I didn't even know if I could lift the bench press bar yet and I wasn't just about to embarrass myself if I couldn't. Grabbing fifteen pound weights, I stood in front of the mirror and started to lift the dumbbell above my head while my left arm held the other pair and stayed by my side. Once my arms felt warmed up I switched to goblet squats with a twenty pound dumbbell then back to my top muscles and back to my bottom muscles. Once I gained a bit of strength then I will move on to a more constructed work out schedule. Finished with the workout of the day I let lumberjack punch my card on the way out and stepped out into now the sunshine filled day. It was sunrise when I got up this morning and seeing the sun up in the sky made me feel a lot more energized then I was this morning. The building was a red worn brick, had a small swinging sign that stuck out from building, hanging instead of a big board printed across the front. It read 'Ebony' with the picture of a skull after the word. As I walked back to my car I spotted a black camaro across the street which reminded me of Rock's from yesterday. I smirked remembering I got him to move his car yesterday. I let out a small laugh as I plopped down on my leather seat.
