Scarlett finally got back home and went straight to her bedroom. Scarlett and her mom still hadn't worked things out and Scarlett didn't have the brain power to deal with it right now. She just wanted to relax before continuing with the rest of her school work. She entered her room and glanced at the boxes sitting outside her closet. She paused debating whether to get it over with or continue with her plans to be lazy for the next hour. She groaned as she half stomped to them and carried it into her closet. She took out her clothes and started to hang and fold them. She felt a presence behind her and stopped moving waiting for the person to make themselves known before turning around.
"Need some help? I already finished mine." She heard her mother's voice crack.
"Sure. You can help." Scarlett said in a way that said 'only to help'. They hung up and folded clothes in silence knowing the real reason Blair is here to make amends to their little argument.
"I'd like to say I'm sorry for being rude to you and Brandon the other day..." Scarlett started.
"No it's-" Blair cut in.
"But I'm not." Scarlett ended her sentence. Scarlett focused on the clothes and didn't dare look over at her mother. "I loved dad more than you did. I loved him till the very end and it is hard for me to understand how you are moving on so fast. So...I'm not sorry for being rude, but I just need you to understand that I am not okay with you being okay. However, if that is how you feel I can't...and won't stop you." Scarlett finally turned towards Blair and instead of seeing anger in her mom she saw compassion.
"I know. You loved him." Blair touched her daughters face with a stroke of her thumb. "You loved him more than I ever could." Blair let go and turned back to the clothes. They finished the rest in silence as Scarlett wasn't sure how to respond to her mothers words and actions.

In the morning, Scarlett began with picking out her outfit as her calculus homework kept her up later than she wanted to last night. A sheer black long sleeve with a blood red tube top paired with a medium length black blazer and very dark blue jeans. As always black high top chucks. Scarlett braided her hair into two French braids on each side of her head making her hair look thick and long. She applied makeup and was out the door skipping the morning coffee and chitchat.
"I love your fit today." Trix mentioned as Scarlett drove off towards Roxy's house following the directions Bellatrix gave her.
"Thanks." Scarlett mumbled feeling a bit nervous. She wasn't showing it on the outside, but she had butterflies fluttering in her stomach. She told it several times to settle, but it did not listen. She didn't know exactly why she was nervous. However, she assumed it had something to do with tonight's activities.
"Um...by the way," Trix started, "I probably shouldn't be the one telling you this...but Roxy has been a bit distracted lately." Bellatrix glanced at Scarlett out of the corner of her eye.
"Distracted?" Scarlett questioned as she hadn't really noticed that. Scarlett thought for a moment longer and realized Roxy did seem to zone out a lot. However, she just thought that was just Roxy being Roxy...quiet.
"Yeah!" Trix said a little too loud. "I mean it's not my place to say..." she lowered her voice, "but she might not come to the drag race tonight." Bellatrix mentioned with a small hint of sadness.
"What? Why not?" Scarlett said sounding almost too concerned. She needed her posey, with only one person you can only call that a duo not a group. Three or more makes a group.
