"Let's get this over with." Jefe groaned and turned towards Frostee and the two other men one looked white and the other looked like a Mexican. Julián pulled me back so I was beside Jefe and Rock on Jefe's other side.

"Get what over with?" I said panicking looking between José and Frostee.

"Close your eyes Red."

"W-what Why-"

One.

The sound of a fist colliding with Frostee's face made me choke on my words. I yelped out scared at the sudden motion.

"Frostee!" I screamed.

Two, three, and four. More punches. On the fifth, I saw blood drip to the floor. Frostee was on his knees completely at the mercy of their fists. Frostee tried to hold himself up with his hands but his arms were shaking. I tried to force myself out of Julián's arms, but he wouldn't even budge.

"Frostee!" I shrieked. He fell to the floor and they continued to beat him kicking and punching. "Stop! Please!" Tears streaming down my face. "No!" I choked as I started to sob.

"Shut her up!" José snapped and Julián put a hand over my mouth still holding onto me.

My cries and pleads were muffled as Frostee turned into a bloody mess. The tears stained my cheeks and soaked the hand that clasped my mouth shut. Frostee grunted loudly as they continued their assault. I couldn't take it.

"Shit." Julián mumbled and he held onto me stronger.

"No Frostee! Please stop!" I almost got out of his grip which made him release his hand from my mouth.

He was now barely moving.

"He's going to die! Please! Stop! Jefe!"

"Are you begging me?" José taunted me.

"Yes, yes I'm begging you." I don't care if this ruins me, "please stop." I stared at José straight in his dark devil-like eyes my blue ones overflowing with the salty water.

"Stop." José spoke with simplicity and the two men stopped and glanced at him. "We had some fun times." The two men stepped away from Frostee. Jefe began walking towards what I assumed to be the exit, "Adiós mi amigo."

The second Julián's arms loosened I dropped next to Frostee still crying. He was so bloody and bruised. His eyes were barely open and I thought he was dead until he whispered.

"I told you to close your eyes." He coughed.

"I could never Blue." I sniffled.

I breathed out. He's okay....he is okay. His once bright green eyes were now dark. I cupped his face brushing his hair out of the way. Red blood dyed the ends of his blonde hair. Frostee closed his eyes and leaned into my hand. I saw Rock's shoes as he stood next to us.

"Don't take him to a hospital."

"Fuck you."

He's fucking dead to me.

***Flashback***

The rain was warm on my skin, but I knew it wasn't. I didn't care. Nothing mattered at this moment, not after having to bury my father at 19 years old. My mother knew I wouldn't get in the car if she tried to take me home that's why she just let me walk away. I was numb. The person that I have ever cared about is gone. The only person who has ever cared about me is gone.

My phone buzzed and I pulled it out, but my body was so weak my muscles clenched suddenly. My phone slipped out of my hand onto the cement and into a muddy puddle. I bent down picking it up and it was still one hundred percent fine. Just a little wet. However, I wished it wasn't.
