I don't even think there was a bouncer at the door. The chairs were all set up on top of the tables indicating the restaurant closed a while ago. It was about eleven o'clock when we arrived and it seemed the wait staff had already left as well. We went up the iron staircase and my heart pounded louder than the music the closer we got. I followed Flora and once she got to the top she turned around at me with her mouth gaped open and it turned into an excited smile. She bounced on her toes as she moved aside.

My eyes were immediately attacked with strobes and every color imagined flashed temporarily illuminating the black room. The place looked a hundred times different with its max occupancy.

"Oh my god! Scarlett, I am so ready!" She squealed tugging on my arm.

I subconsciously smiled as the adrenaline of the clubbing entered my veins. Straight ahead the dance floor was stormed with people dancing, grinding, and jumping to the beat of the music. I grinned excited to get on the dance floor. I rubbed my painted lips together and took in the rest of my surroundings.

"Drinks!" Flora yelled over the music and pulled me down the stairs to get across the dance floor to the bar. I followed her as she kept grip of my hand and we somehow made it through the sea of warm dancing bodies in one piece.

"Two lemon drop shots!" Flora ordered and handed the bartender her card. He stared for a moment at her, but nodded and went to prepare them.

"Shots?" I questioned her.

"Hey! You agreed to dancing and drinks!" She warned me with a pointed finger. I put my hands up in surrender as the bartender slid the drinks over with a piece of paper. He walked away and Flora left it on the table only taking the two shot glasses.

"What's that?" I asked as she handed me my shot.

"His number." She mumbled and took the shot.

"OMG, what?" My eyes widened at her as she stared at the dance floor.

"Yeah, but I don't need it." I raised an eyebrow at her as she looked over at me. "I think I might try going out with Christain." My mouth opened slightly.

"Really?" I gasped.

"Yeah, he's really sweet. I don't know why I hadn't noticed his flirting before." She giggled and blushed slightly. "He drove me to the ice cream shop after the pep rally on Friday..."

"Aw, Flora your blushing!" I teased her.

"How can you see that in this low light!" She cover her cheeks with her dainty hands. "Just take your shot!" She pouted at me. I took it quickly and squeezed my eyes shut and shook my head.

"Whoo." I blew out air surprised by the sour and bitter taste combined in one small glass. I slammed it on the counter lightly.

"Let's go!" Once more Flora dragged me away and onto the dance floor.

I smiled and yelled out the words with Flora as we danced, jumped, and pounded our fists into the air. Throughout the songs Flora and I would jokingly start dancing up onto each other sexily and we knew men were staring at us, but we hardly noticed. I had one more shot and the buzz was really starting to get to me, but Flora seemed unfazed.

"I'm going to get another drink!" She announced and I nodded throwing my head back. I was starting to sweat and wanted to cool down with any cool draft I could catch. I looked down at my collar bone remembering the body glitter Flora dusted on me before we left the house.

Suddenly, I felt someone grip my wrist tightly and tug me away from where I was standing. I would have pulled back, but I was a bit too drunk to process what was happening. I looked at the hand, noticing the familiarity of the defined veins, and quickly snapped my head up. I stared at the back of Rock's head as he pulled me away from the dance floor and to some of the lounge seats, closer to the entrance. He wore dark pants and a dark red velvet fabricated button-up with a silver chain hanging off his neck and matching chains on his pants. He had his sleeves rolled up exposing his strong forearms. I noticed a silver and black Rolex and rolled my eyes at his wealth.
