Izuku confronted his mother about it as you sat on the sofa. Your mother asked Izuku to head outside for a bit, as she needed to talk to you. Your mother sat on the sofa, a grim and serious look on her face.

"Listen, (Y/n)."

You stared at her while she talked.

"I never hated you. I'm concerned, the more you act, the more you seem like a..."

"Villain?"

Your mother didn't reply.

"Ah. So that's why you made that face." You sighed, your head resting on the back of the sofa.

"You see, your father isn't a good man. He was a villain, and the more I see you, the more you seem like a villain. I don't want you to walk down that pathway, I want you to be someone like Izuku."

"But I'm not him. I will never be him. I'm not my father. And defending my brother while he possibly gets physically hurt is me showing my love for him. If that's a villain, then I'm not sure what your definition of hero is."

You stood, heading to the door. You put your shoes on as your mother followed behind you.

"I'm leaving for a while. I need space." You opened the door, slamming it behind you.

Izuku looked up from the steps, playing with a stick he found. "Where are you going?"

"Somewhere. Console mom or something." You replied.

You were tired. You didn't want to deal with this right now. What a sad, miserable life to be living.

You're probably being dramatic though. That's what all teenagers do. Your mother probably hates you, she just doesn't want to admit it.

You left, trying to find something to distract you.

"Young (Y/n)?"

That familiar voice made you turn your head. "All Mi-I mean, what are you doing here?"

"Ah, well, I'm going out shopping. What about you?" He asked as he stepped closer, now standing beside you.

"Not sure. I just need to clear my head." You started walking, him following beside you.

"Why? What's wrong?"

"My mother explained that my actions were villainous and since my dad was a villain, she thinks I'll become one. I was pretty angry at her for thinking that way but, I guess she's right, in a way. I handle things with violence."

"I don't think that's true." He grabbed your sleeve as you neared the crosswalk. "You were forced to use violence because you were in violent situations. Would you punch me if I made you angry?"

"I guess not."

"No. However, when your bully-"

"I didn't have bullies. I was defending Izuku."

"Right. When defending young Midoriya, did you throw the first punch?"

"Except for one time, no."

"There you have it."

The light turned red, so All Might crossed the street as he held onto your sleeve, just in case.

"Your mother has a misunderstanding about you. She thinks you're violent because you're violent. That's not the case. If you need to, ask Young Midoriya to tell her about what happened."

You shrugged, "I'm not sure that's going to make much of a difference."

"I'm sure it will. If it doesn't, then maybe your mother has to be more open-minded."
