Katsuki had seen it on TV.

You rescued a group of hostages singlehandedly, without breaking a sweat. Even afterwards, you didn't even seem like you were going to collapse. You were simply tired.

You could keep going if you wanted to.

That's what got Katsuki so riled up. Just because you had a quirk now, it meant you were more powerful than him? He hated you. He hated you before and he still does.

Even more so with your new quirk.

But even so, these feelings of his won't stop dragging his ego through the mud. He will continue to ignore these stupid feelings because it was a distraction and it did nothing to benefit him. As he was heading home from the gym, he spotted your mother walking beside Izuku.

He scoffed and rolled his eyes when he saw you weren't there and made way back to his home. However, Inko called his name. He reluctantly crossed the street to greet your mother.

"Auntie." He greeted.

"Hello, Katsuki. Would you like to come over to our house? I have dinner prepared and I think it would be nice if you ate with us."

"Lemme check in with my old ha-mom."

She chuckled in amusement at him watching his language around her. He pulled out his phone and called his mother, met with screaming.

"You old hag!! Stop screaming at me!! Auntie invited me over for dinner you hag!!"

The voice on the other end quieted down before joyfully replying. He screamed at her one last time before hanging up and pocketing his phone. Taking his mother's tone as a yes, Inko walked back home with the two teenage boys.

They were both quiet because one, obviously they wouldn't be talking and two, you weren't there. When you were there, Izuku had a reason to bicker with Katsuki.

Katsuki didn't find picking on Izuku fun anymore because your reactions were far better than his. Also, you'd beat Katsuki up, which wasn't that bad, but Inko was there. He didn't want to further worsen your reputation because of him.

Katsuki observed as your mother's hand shook when she inserted the key in the keyhole. That wasn't normal. She opened the door and allowed the two boys to enter before she went in herself.

"Oh yeah! Mom, (Y/n) brought a cat home!"

"A cat?" She frowned, looking around for a small furball.

"Yeah! She found him and Mr. Aizawa let her keep him! Can we keep him?"

"I-I'm not sure, Izuku."

He pouted before finding you sleeping on the couch. "Ah, she's sleeping. And there's the cat!"

Inko kept her distance as she took a look at you. Her heart throbbed when she saw you peacefully sleeping with a black kitten. Why was she so scared of you? You were just a child.

She shook your shoulder, your eyes fluttering open. You stretched as Kinsei jumped off your lap.

"(Y/n), are you going to take care of that cat?"

"Yes! I will!" You answered enthusiastically. "I already got a lot of supplies for Kinsei! From my first paycheck!" You lied.

"Really?" Inko blinked, "how much money?"

"A lot." You bluntly replied before scooping up Kinsei, "look at him! He's so cute!"

Izuku smiled at your reaction. You usually fawned over cute things and he always found it amusing. That was until you spotted Katsuki covering his mouth his hand as he held back his laughter. You quickly set Kinsei down before growing warm from embarrassment.
