TW MENTIONS OF SUICIDE IF YOU CANNOT HANDLE THIS TOPIC, LEAVE OR SKIP THIS CHAPTER

(For people who can't read all caps) tw mentions of suicide if you cannot handle this topic, leave or skip this chapter.

There will be a summary on the next chapter in case you skip.

Japan was notoriously known for their high suicide rates, mostly because of bullying and isolation. For all age groups, from children to the elderly.

And the bullying never stopped for you.

There were continuous "pranks" on you from the general course. Throwing ice cold water at you, gluing your hair, stealing your shoes, cutting up your textbook are one of the few examples. Hitoshi often had to stop them before it got bad. He was still your friend, even when you gave up your hero status.

He understood how trauma could get to someone. He wasn't about to discriminate just because being a hero wasn't for you.

Katsuki still did the routine you always did. But he only said what was necessary and reminded you that he loved you. After that, he left you to think about the shattered trust. Pieced together, it would never be smooth again.

Not unless you glued it together, piece by piece, to form a beautiful piece of art.

The next day wasn't any different. There was a lot of bullying. A lot of bruises and hurt egos. But you'd endure it for normalcy.

The next few days were wearing you down. Normalcy. This was normalcy. It was what you wanted, wasn't it?

Protesting. Protesting outside UA gates. Get the girl out and face the crowd. Make the girl get back to work. The girl has to work again.

The hated girl must work for Japan.

They wouldn't go. Even after a week. Protesting that you go out and face them. It was a source of bullying, even from other courses. The hero course tried to help you but they weren't any different.

Normalcy. No more trauma. No more trauma.

You were sent out to the crowd to appease them. You were grabbed. Touched. Assaulted. Pulled. Pushed. Hit. Hated. Kicked.

They threw things at you. You were trash. A bundle of trash.

The heroes watched. And once the crowd was done, only then was when they cared. How dare you guys do this?! How could you?!

They wanted to teach you a lesson you would never forget. So that you, a young girl, could go back to working.

No more trauma. Normalcy. This is what you asked for. This is what you wanted. Normalcy.

You shakingly stood, bruises littering your body. You stumbled before dragging yourself, bruised and battered, back to the dorms. Ignoring any concerned glances from your stupid old classmates, you shut yourself in.

You responded to no one. Not Ochako, not Iida, not Tsuyu, not even Izuku or Katsuki. Not Aizawa, not All Might or even Nezu.

You hated the heroes. Why did they just watch? Did they also want you to go back to working? How terrible. He was right. They didn't care about you at all.

You shook your head. No. A couple of heroes weren't going to send you to world domination. Not yet.

Another day of skipping school. You hadn't eaten in two days. You bandaged your bruises. Hopefully they'll go away. Maybe no one will notice after a few days.
