Ren Takahashi sat in her imprisonment after her corruption had been revealed. She pretended to be kind and nice and reliable to newcomers but then turned around whenever they were rebellious. That was why her favorite was Hawks. He listened without question to anything she said, he was her loyal dog.
Dog.
But now he's somewhere she doesn't know and she wants him back. If she asked him to, he'd give her his coat to keep her warm in this white cell. He'd even spill his own blood to add color to this white room.
She had nothing but herself in this decaying room. White everywhere. Which is why she had stripped down to her undergarments and scattered her clothes everywhere. It was a good idea until they took her clothes away and gave her white ones. Now she could only stare at the goosebumps on her skin as they reacted to the cold air.
"Disgusting old hag."
That was a familiar voice she never thought she'd ever hear again. She looked up from her imprisonment to see a young blonde, the same boy she had tried to deceive. She almost laughed at her own failure.
She wanted to capture a god for her own sake and now she was here. It was all her doing. Her being was a cataclysm for the god.
Without her, the world would've been just fine.
"Tch. I don't wanna look at your ugly wrinkles so put your goddamn clothes on or you're not getting out." Katsuki, that god's lover, looked away with disgust.
Ren only smiled. She thought he was insignificant. A bug she could squash beneath her foot. Someone she could control and manipulate. A marionette.
Turns out he was pretty important to that god. So important that the world depended on him. She got dressed slowly, her old bones creaking with every movement.
Katsuki didn't look at her even as he was opening the door. "Get out of line by an inch and I'm blasting your ass back here, got it?"
"Yes, I understand." She wearily made her way over to him. Her body was not working like it used to.
She toiled her way down the hall and into headquarters, where she assumed was where all the important "leaders" were. The handcuffs on her were like lead, heavy and unforgiving.
She hung her head, unable to look at the people around the room. She was the cause of all this. She made the girl realize who she was. She was the catalyst and she should be eliminated for her sins.
"Lift your head."
Upon lifting her head, the first person she saw was Hawks. He was standing there, all his glory was a relief for her. The second person she saw was that mouse-dog-bear principal. And the next was All Might. The last person—or people—was the girl's past classmates.
The shame she felt was immeasurable. She stood before them, as a rat is to a human. Her fate was easily seen.
She fell to her knees and bowed. "I understand."
"Don't be stupid." Katsuki sneered, moving to stand beside his classmates. He was practically a giant if he were to be compared to his past self. "Death is merciful for you."
She rose her head. Merciful?
"You will pay for your sins and atrocities, Miss Ren Takahashi." All Might spoke. "But not in a way that would physically hurt you."
"We've taken your actions into account." The past principal of UA joined, his joyous voice was now serious.
"Humiliation is the only punishment for you." Aizawa, that teacher of the girl's, finished for them. "You are to clean everything, everywhere. You will clean the entire underground, by yourself three times over. Only then can you redeem yourself."
That's it? That was it? That was the punishment for her? She started to smile but Hawks, her past guard, pressed a feather against her throat.
"However, you will wear a shock collar. Your hands and feet will be chained up to heavy metal balls. You cannot stop working unless it's the break we've mercifully given you." Hawks glared down at her, "and by break, we mean thirty minutes every twelve hours."
Her smile disappeared in a flash, only a look of horror.
"Don't look that way." Katsuki grinned as he crouched, "I mean, it's merciful enough. If it were (Y/n), she would've made you walk around the earth three times till your feet rot off. Not that I'd mind that punishment too. All those people you've framed, all those people you've hurt, they're all happy that you're paying for your sins."
She almost cried as a scarlet collar snapped around her neck. Her cuffs were attached to chains. And all she had left was herself.
"You will start by cleaning this building." All Might stood. "And this room is the first. Good luck on cleaning the entire town, room, and crevice three times over."
Three times.
She'd be done when she died.
And maybe that was the perfect punishment for her. She wanted to beg for mercy from them or any deity. But she knew that the only deity that could save her, was you.
And you weren't going to save her.
Your classmates walked away from her, staring in disgust. This was her fate. And her fate was worse than death.
She was given a box that would give her a towel every time she reached in.
She got to work, starting with the floor.
