29. Izuku's Rage

Izuku was worried.

You had not been acting like yourself these days. It was normal behavior for you, but even more so is worrying. You'd cling to him and sometimes hide behind him.

He didn't realize what was bothering you until he saw the man. Immediately, he pinned the man down, in the middle of the school hallway.

"What are you doing here?! What do you want with my sister?!" Izuku was near to popping his head off. He was breathing heavily, his pupils shaking with anger.

"I-I don't know you! L-let g-go!"

"Izuku!" You grabbed his arm. "Stop. Let's go talk."

"I'm not letting go." Izuku said firmly, restraining his voice from yelling at you.

"Please. Let's go, Izuku."

Your gentle hands bribed him into letting go. After a petty kick at the man's ribcage, he followed after you. An eye contact with Katsuki was enough to get him to go with you as well.

He shoved Eijiro muttering, "bathroom."

Eijiro nodded in understanding before returning to conversing with his friends. Once outside, you sat down on the grass, plucking at the grass as Katsuki caught up.

Izuku reluctantly sat down beside you, yanking fistfuls of grass, inevitably killing them at first yank.

"So? Whaddya want?" Katsuki asked as he plopped down on your right.

"Izuku got mad." You told him, "you remember that man? The one who tried to...you know..."

"Sexually harass you?" Katsuki finished for you. "Say it loud and clear, dumbass."

"Right. He is now apart of the school staff-"

"Who the fuck hired a villain?" Venom in Izuku's voice made you shiver. He was scary when he was angry.

"Tch. Not like the stupid heroes are gonna hire him without purpose."

"Purpose?" Izuku stared at Katsuki with shaking eyes, rage making the veins in his eyes red.

"Not what I meant. I meant the heroes wouldn't do this for no reason." Katsuki surpressed his rage,  not wanting to deal with an angry, emotional, revenge driven, overprotective brother.

"All for One killed him."

They both stopped arguing the moment you revealed that.

"The hero commissioner told me that All for One killed him and threw him in a ditch." You wringed your hands. "And then the hero commissioner brought him back to life, his memories wiped. I tried arguing with her but she just..."

It was silent for a moment before Izuku stood up and threw a punch at a tree, knocking it down. With a bleeding fist, he clenched them.

You'd never seem him get as angry as now. It was scary. The only choice you had was to get the fuck out of his way.

Katsuki clenched the palms of his hands, "This is stupid. The hero commissioner is stupid. There's no way she'd jepoardize her reputation like that."

"The thing is, I can't reveal anything at all. I just know she'll do something to make sure I'm not believed." Your lips quivered.

People will agree with second chances until it's someone that hurt them. You could never forgive. You're not as strong as you thought you were. You're not a god.

You're not even the main character.

You looked up at Izuku, who had plopped back onto the ground and started muttering. He was. He definitely was.
