"I see." Aizawa said through chewing his sandwich. He was sitting on a pipe that mazed above the underground city. "So, you're in deep trouble."

"Yeah." Katsuki replied as he ate alongside him. "Not because I don't want the kid. I do. But because we're gonna be in a war."

"Mm." Aizawa gulped his food down. "Well, thanks for telling me. We'll have to use this to our advantage. Or it could be our disadvantage. Whichever one it is."

"How do you think the meeting will do?" Katsuki asked Aizawa as he took another bite.

"Most likely," he stopped to chew, "they'll want to use the baby against her. They'll think she got weaker because of the baby."

"That's possible." Katsuki sighed, he didn't feel like eating. He was feeling all sorts of emotions right now. "Though to be honest, I think she'll get stronger. Mother instincts and all that."

"But," Aizawa turned to look at him, "whatever happens, I won't let them hurt them. I won't allow them to use the baby against her. We're after her, not the baby."

"What difference does it make?" Katsuki grumbled, "they'll want to get their dirty hands on my kid."

"It's quite strange." Aizawa said as he took another bite, "you are old enough to buy a house, drink alcohol, buy a car, have a job, be a stripper—"

"Hell no."

"I'm trying to make a point here." Aizawa finished his sandwich. "Do all those things but I still...I still see you as a kid. I watched you grow up into a man."

Katsuki turned to Aizawa, who was looking at the city lights.

"I'm proud." Aizawa's eyes glossed over but he didn't shed tears. "You're almost twenty-two. Whatever happens, I want you to keep living for your kid."

Katsuki grinned. "'Course I'll keep living. No way in hell am I leaving my kid fatherless."

Aizawa smiled, "Of course. And maybe you're right. Maybe she will get stronger, due to her mother instincts."

"Yeah. I know she's getting stronger this second. Which means..." Katsuki stood, stretching. "I have to train harder. There's no way in hell I'm losing to my future wife."

Aizawa sighed, "you haven't even proposed to her."

"I will, once we win the battle." Katsuki stepped into the open air, "she'll say yes without hesitation."

Katsuki let himself fall, blasting a villain that they had been spying on. Aizawa's eyes glowed red as he drank his soda. Once Katsuki captured him, Aizawa shook his head. He wasn't worried about Katsuki.

He'd be a great father and husband.
