He put a sleeping mask on you first. You couldn't help but slur your speech as you talked to Aizawa. He stood beside you, watching the worker as he pulled blood from your veins.

"What's the sleeping mask for?" Your teacher asked, finding no point in it if it was just to draw out blood.

"To relax her body. While we take her skin DNA, she might struggle a bit as it is a bit painful."

"And how do you plan to take skin DNA?"

The worker grabbed a knife, only to be restrained by Aizawa. The worker pointed at a machine, "I need the knife for that machine."

Aizawa let go of him, sighing. "Next time, tell me what you'll do before doing it."

"Yes, of course."

He used the knife to cut a piece of rubber off for who knows what. The worker grabbed your arm and placed it on the table, lowering the machine so that the circular rubber touched your skin. Small needles injected into your skin, making you squirm.

"It'll be over soon." The worker calmly told you. "My name is Ray Tanaki, by the way."

The needles soon came out and a slightly larger one stuck into your arm before lifting to reveal a ball of red. He took the machine off and grabbed a Hello Kitty band-aid to put on your arm.

"You handled that well. Some patients attempt to run away." He patted your hand. "I just need a snippet of your hair, saliva, and an X-ray. I have to make sure you're at full health and that everything it working as it should."

He carefully cut your hair, putting it in a plastic bag. Ray found it amusing that you refused to open your mouth for him until Aizawa forced you to. He used a cotton swab to wipe at your tongue and put it in a separate bag.

"Come this way, I'll take an X-ray of you."

You yawned as you walked beside Aizawa. Aizawa had to pat your shoulder so you wouldn't fall asleep on him. You had to change into different clothing and have a wristband of some sorts. You were put in a separate room and the worker took pictures of your bones.

When you returned, he had given you the okay. "Everything seems to be fine. You are healthy as a teenager can be! All I need to do now is to implement a chip in the back of your neck for communication purposes."

"Will it hurt? Is there any risk of her getting disabilities?"

"No, don't worry. It doesn't hurt in the slightest and does not interfere with the nervous system." He smiled at Aizawa, "Thank you for your concern, however."

Ray took you to a room and ordered you to lay on your stomach and if you wanted, to sleep. He put some equipment on before taking some special tools to drill a small hole the size of a needle on the back of your neck. He carefully slipped the chip inside before putting a bandaid over it.

"Allow it to scab before taking the band-aid off." He told Aizawa

"Hey, kid." Aizawa shook you awake, "It's time to go home."

"That's all I have for you today, you can go home now." Ray smiled as you sat up.

"Finally. Bye bye, Ray." You waved sluggishly at Ray as you turned to leave with your teacher.

"Ah! Before I forget!" He pulled out a lollipop. "It's your reward for being so obedient!"

"A lollipop!" You showed it to Aizawa. "I'm gonna eat it."

"Yeah, go ahead and eat it." Replied Aizawa.

You gasped before turning around, digging for something in your pocket. You took it out and handed it to Ray, "that's my costume! Give it to granny for me!"

Ray confusedly took it before smiling with amusement. "I will. Go with your teacher. Stay safe."

You fell asleep in his car. It was much too comfortable to not sleep. Aizawa allowed you to sleep as he stopped by a fast-food drive-in to order some food for you. He didn't know what you liked so he picked the most popular on the menu.

Currently, it was 1 p.m. Your mother said to return you around 2 p.m., which meant he had a little bit of free time. That meant he would drop you off and replan his schedule so that he could have more sleeping time, or...

He could take you to the park.

He sighed as he changed course. You wouldn't have time anymore to be a kid after you start working officially. He figured he would gift you with the last chance at your childhood. He hoped you'd have a great memory of this.

He arrived at the park, shaking you awake. "C'mon. Let's go."

You awoke, feeling refreshed but a little bit drowsy. You stepped out, realizing that you weren't home.

"Let's go for a jog." He waved his finger over to him, "and enjoy the scenery. Sound good?"

"Uhm...okay." you jogged beside him as you looked around, occasionally stopping to look at some flowers or look at an animal.

It was pretty peaceful.

Spending time with your teacher like this was nice. He wasn't asking about your personal life or your hobbies. There wasn't any awkward silence because you and Aizawa did not want to talk.

It was just comfortable jogging-

You and Aizawa stopped at the same time when you both heard a cat meowing. Your eyes met with his, silently agreeing with him to find the source. You quickly found the kitten in a box, tapping Aizawa to alert him of the cat.

He didn't waste a second by jogging over to the box and bending down to carry the kitten. The kitten meowed loudly as Aizawa shushed the kitten.

"It's a boy." He said, wrapping the cat in his scarf. "Let's take him to the animal shelter."

"Okay." You followed him, glancing at the male cat. He was so cute and tiny, his small head and wide eyes looked around.

Arriving at the shelter, the man at the front desk greeted Aizawa. "Ah, I see you've found yourself a kitten."

You looked around the shelter. It was a nice cute shelter, probably fit for about twenty animals.

"Unfortunately, we do not have a lot of space. We also do not have many volunteers to take care of these animals so if you'd please take care of the kitten and I can call you back-"

"No. I'll take him myself." Aizawa turned to leave quickly.

You trailed behind him, itching to volunteer at the animal shelter. However, you already had a job to handle and school. You had to go to the training camp as well. You weren't able to volunteer for long without getting stressed.

"Would you like to have him?" Aizawa asked once you were outside.

"Huh?"

"Do you want to keep him?" He asked as he pet the kitten. "I have a lot of cats at home. It may be hazardous if I have a kitten at home."

"Sure! I can keep him!"

"I'll send you a message about cat diets and what you can feed this little guy. For now, give him a name."

You stared at the kitten when Aizawa gave it to you. He was a black cat. The only thing that wasn't black was his right ear. His whole right ear was a white color.

"I'm not sure. I'll tell you when I come up with a name."

"Right. I should take you home now, I think it's been enough jogging."

You nodded, walking back to his car. You couldn't help but want to squeeze the kitten when he meowed. He was so cute.

You arrived home.

Before leaving, you waved at Aizawa. "Thanks for the jog. And for your concern. You're real nice, Mr. Aizawa. See you later!"

"Yes, of course. Bye."

"Also! I'll send you cat pictures!"

"Yes, thank you."

"Bye!" You closed the car door to make your way home. Aizawa smiled to himself.

Never in his life had a teenager called him nice. It felt like an accomplishment to finally hear that. With that, he went to U.A. to take care of things.
