You didn't fight Katsuki much, as he was busy preparing for the U.A. entrance exams. You didn't mind, although it was boring without someone there to blow off some steam. So you studied, stole some of your brother's merch, and went to the gym.
Your brother was persistent in entering the U.A. exam, so you worked hard too. He was making you go with him, despite you not wanting to. It would be embarrassing if a quirkless nobody tried to get in, so you decided to carry Izuku's humiliation with him.
He was really happy.
So you didn't mind.
You practiced everyday, hoping that you'd at least fight off anyone who'd try to attack your brother.
And then the big day came.
U.A. was bigger than you'd thought it'd be, the reflective windows showing the big, blue sky. You'd come to see Izuku fail, and you'd also come to pass the written exam to enter the general course. Sure, U.A. might be for future heroes, but it was also for quirkless nobodies like you and Izuku.
"I'm so nervous..." Izuku muttered as he wiped his sweaty hands against his pants. "I hope I pass."
"To be honest, I can't expect someone like you to pass." You told him the cold, hard truth. "But good luck anyways."
"That didn't help at all..." He sweatdropped at his twin sister.
"Hmph. Whether it helps you or motivates you, I'll be beside you anyways. Let's go, or else we'll be late."
"Right!" He jogged to catch up with you before tripping over a rock, suddenly having an existential crisis.
Sorry Mom, Sorry All Might, Sorry (Y/n)...I failed...
"Uh?"
You turned around to see a girl touching Izuku, stopping him from falling face-first into the concrete.
"Darn it, shoulda let him fall. It would've been a good blackmail picture." You nonchalantly stated as you went back to your brother.
"Uhm..." Ochako glanced at you with a concerned face.
"Hm? I'm his sister. It's a sibling kinda thing. Izuku, let's go. You're not gonna pass the exam like that. Come on, get up!"
"Y-yes! T-thank you!"
"Of course! I wouldn't want you to fall on your exam day! It's bad luck! Good luck to you guys on the exam!"
"Yeah, sure. Thanks. Let's go!" You dragged Izuku off before he melted into a puddle of mush. "Geez, you really have never talked to girls, huh?"
"You're a girl."
"Besides me and mom, dumbass!" You hit the back of his head.
"Ow! Sorry..."
You sighed, ruffling his hair. "Just hurry up. I don't expect you to pass this exam but honestly? I hope you do. Maybe some other quirkless kid can have a chance of passing. You'll be the first quirkless."
Izuku instantly felt guilt. You were putting expectations on him, not as a meta user, but as a quirkless person. He hasn't revealed to you about his quirk, and he probably wouldn't until he was sure he could.
The written part of the exam was easy as pie, as you were forced to study by your brother. For that, you were thankful to him. Then came the part you dreaded.
You sat between Izuku and Katsuki. It was almost strange that you sat beside Katsuki without throwing punches. As Present Mic was explaining the exam, Katsuki looked down at his card before glancing at yours.
