6. Hero's Route

"The sports festival is coming up, huh?" You ate your lunch beside All Might, Izuku on the other side.

"Yes. That means every hero worldwide is going to be watching."

"Good thing I'm not going to do my best in it. I'm just going to kick my feet back and relax."

"Well, if you'd like to." All Might smiled as he pat your head. "But if you want to give it a shot, feel free to."

"Maybe I might, out of pettiness. I want to see how far I go before it's revealed I'm quirkless." You smirked evilly, "you know what? I'm going to do just that."

"Then you'd have to train really hard!" Izuku exclaimed. "You can train with me and All Might!"

"No thanks. Too intense. I'm gonna work on myself my own way." You picked daisies at your feet, bunching them in your fist.

You intertwined the stems of the daisies, creating a flower crown. When you finished, you handed it to All Might.

"Oh! A flower crown!" He placed it on his head, grinning. "It's quite nice! It fits me, doesn't it, Young Midoriya?"

"I guess." Izuku smiled. It was sloppy but it was still made by your hands.

The warning bell rang, which meant you should probably get back to class.

"See you two around, Young Midoriyas!" He took off in his hero form, the flower crown still on his head.

You and Izuku picked up your things, your walk becoming into a sprint when the minute bell rang.

As All Might went around town, defeating villains, he struck poses for the news reporters.

"All Might! Who's the flower crown from?!" A journalist asked as he frantically wrote.

"Ah, this? It was made by a student of mine! It's quite well made!"

"May we know the student?!"

"I'm afraid not! But what I can tell you is that she has a heart of gold! But please do not bother the hero course! Or any student for that matter! I appreciate it!"

He took off jumping, the grin never leaving his face. When you got back home and turned on the TV, it was all over the news.

"The mystery person with the heart of gold." Izuku read, a smile appearing on his face. "It's about you, (Y/n)."

"Yeah, no shit sherlock."

"You don't have to cuss at me." Izuku pouted as he opened a bag of chips. You reached over, grabbing a handful, to Izuku's irritation.

It was silent as you and your twin stared intently at the TV. You got bored quickly, heading off into your room to distract yourself. Your phone started ringing, an unknown number appearing on your screen.

"This is your local police station, what's your emergency?" You answered, trying to get the scammer to hang up.

"Really? I'm sure this is (Y/n)?"

You shot up, eyes widening. "All Might?!"

"Yeah, I found your phone number in the student directory."

"Why'd you need my phone number for?"

"I just wanted to keep your phone number just in case. You also need to save it in case you need money."

"That's true. Lemme save your number real quick."

"Also, if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm a call away."

"You know, you're starting to act more like a father." You replied as you tapped on your phone to save his number.

"I would like to be your father figure." He replied, a smile growing on his face.
