Side Story #2

Toga laughed as she splashed in the water, throwing it towards Twice. Shigaraki sat on a chair, grumbling and huffing. You had left him quirkless after you left. He hated you.

Dabi set a cold glass of water beside him. They had been moved to an island with a penthouse and a lifetime supply of food. They had you to thank.

"Stop brooding. At least she gave us a home." Dabi rolled his eyes at Shigaraki, sitting beside him. "She wasn't all that bad."

"She took my quirk." Shigaraki grumbled, sipping the cold water. "You wouldn't understand."

Dabi rolled his eyes again. "I wasn't a troublemaker like you."

Shigaraki quietly glared at the glittering ocean.

"What did you wish for?" Dabi drank his own glass of water, crossing his legs. Toga's laughter served as ambience.

"Huh?" Shigaraki shot Dabi a glare.

"We made another contract with her. Do a nice thing and she'll grant our wish." Dabi took another gulp of his water. "What'd you wish for?"

"Bold of you to assume I did something nice for her."

Dabi scoffed, setting his glass down. "You did do something nice for her. You stepped aside when that green boy and her boyfriend arrived, right? You didn't hurt them. That was nice."

Shigaraki groaned and rolled his eyes. "I didn't wish for anything because that doesn't count, stupid."

Dabi grinned, glancing at Shigaraki. "Oh, I see. You did wish for something, didn't you?"

Shigaraki sipped the glass of water, looking away. "Shut up. You wished for it too."

It was silent between them. Their wish was a secret between the two of them.

Not for Toga tho.

"You guys wished it too!" Toga was behind them, wrapping her arms around their necks and pulling them together. "You wished for (Y/n)'s safety!"

Shigaraki and Dabi both felt the violent urge to hurt Toga. But upon hearing her laughter, they let it go. It sounded too similar to your laughter. And they had you to thank for Toga still being alive.

Shigaraki pulled away with a grin. "Yeah, yeah, I wished for her safety. What of it? I'm a villain, not a monster."

Toga ruffled his hair before jumping away when he swat at her. "Admit it, you at least had a small crush on her."

Shigaraki scoffed, "no way."

"You liked her at some point." Dabi swallowed the rest of his water. "I can tell."

"You can't tell shit." Shigaraki huffed, feeling his cheeks burn. "Shut up. I thought she was pretty for two seconds. And then she was ugly to me for the rest of the time."

They stared at him, bewildered. "We were joking." Toga said lightly.

Shigaraki's face paled before he threw the rest of his cold water at Toga. "Don't talk to me anymore! Fuck you and you!"

Shigaraki stomped away, his ears burning.
