Gamer 2.0: Part 4

"I would've loved for this to last longer but my statistics are never wrong." "Did your statistics predict this? CATACLYSM!" Ladybug cataclysms the platform and hops on Sandboy's pillow as the platform crumbles. "I am the game master and play any character!" Gamer 2.0 laughs as he transforms into Befana. "You thought you'd break me with that ridiculous magic trick? Be a nice fairy and give me that miraculous," He starts shooting at Ladybug who activated Troublemaker's pen and the shots go through having no effect. Confused Gamer 2.0 turns into Pharoh and tries to tackle her but flies through instead.

"This isn't fair! You're ruining the whole thing1" He shouts, turning into Dark Cupid, trying to shoot at Ladybug while she sends him a smirk while asking in a taunting manner, "Oops, sorry. Aren't your hits having any effect? In Chess, it's called a pat. A can't win, can't lose situation! What was it you said again? Oh, yeah! The longer, the better."

She smirks again but it's quick to fall when her earrings start beeping. "It could've worked if I didn't just have to wait for you to transform back!" Gamer 2.0 laughs and LB clicks the pen again before stabbing the flour, creating a smokescreen so she could make illusions of herself. A cyclone was sent making the flour disperse soon revealing more than ten Ladybugs on a pillow.

Gamer 2.0 turns into Dark Owl and starts throwing boomerangs at the illusions until there was just one Ladybug left being chased resulting in her falling off the pillow and hitting the ground...Except nothing happens. "No! There's no way, I won!" Gamer 2.0 shouts and LB starts laughing. "I don't believe it, there's a bug in your game, Gamer!" "That's impossible," Gamer says, flying down as Reverser. "Even the best games, developed by the best designers have bugs," Ladybug states matter of factly while Gamer 2.0 taps the ground and Ladybug is announced the winner.

He watches as the Ladybug in front of him disappears and from around the corner of some rubble, the real Ladybug appears. "But sometimes they don't." "You got me, good game," Gamer says with a smile before disappearing and LB breaks his glasses and de-akumatizes the butterfly.

I reappear in Marinette's room with the rest of Kitty Section as we look around confused, what just happened? Kitty Section starts talking amongst themselves while I sneak away and transform, looking for Chat Noir and Ladybug. "Hey guys, sorry I'm late is everything ok?" I ask worriedly and they nod before LB asks, "Hey Chat Noir, between being a superhero and everything else in your life how do you still manage to have fun? Aren't you scared you'll eventually have to sacrifice everything you love for all of this?" I turn to Chat, curious about his answer as well considering who he is and what he has to do on a daily basis.

"The times I have the most fun, my favorite moments are when I'm with you and (s/n) M'lady and I'll give up everything for just that," With that, he takes off and we smile because of his words before transforming back. Marinette soon calling up Max, letting him know she knows two people who could play his game. We head back home with him to find Tom and Sabine baking and Luka helping out. 

"Mom, Dad, I know (y/n) and don't have a lot of time to play with you guys these days but Max does and he has a video game he made that needs to be tested with tons of bugs in it," Her parents get excited and drag Max upstairs to play. Luka turns to me and asks, "I'm guessing you don't have time to play?" "I think some of my assignments can wait," I answer, grabbing his hand and Marin nods. "I'm almost done with the t-shirts and Jagged's posters can wait a bit longer. Leave a few bugs for us!" The three of us race upstairs to play and after Luka and I play a match I ask him if he wants to head to our favorite cafe afterward to which he smiles brightly and agrees.
