Evolution: Part 1

Author: Ok we did it, we've reached season 5 my new nightmare in which case I'm going to go a bit out of order and go Evolution, Destruction, Shadybug special, then Multiplication as the events of Destruction and Shadybug special technically happen before Multiplication which mixes events from that night and the next few days. With this episode being messed up time travel as always but this time no explanation for how it should be fixed...You'd think by now I understand how time travel works but here we are going you fucked it up again and me hoping I'm making it make sense again lol. Ladybug, Chat Noir, and I look down at the group of people cheering for us, of course, there was also a group booing at us, screaming about how fed up they were with us not being able to take Monarch down. At this point, we couldn't blame their frustrations but we weren't gonna back down just because everyone was fed up with the situation.

"Hawkmoth, Shadowmoth, or Monarch, whatever you call yourself, we'll never get our miraculous!" Ladybug shouts before me and Chat gives our two cents.

"You're more powerful now? As if. Despite you having every advantage against us you still don't have what you want!"

"We're not gonna stop fighting till we have every single one back!" 

Chat and I attack the shelter and it breaks, Ladybug's yoyo whizzing by to grab the butterflies, Monarch disappearing for now.

"Monarch's victory will never be complete! We will not be forced into silence! We will not be prisoners to Monarch!" We address the crowd before taking off to figure out our next move.

"I think I know how Monarch managed to steal the miraculous," Ladybug tells us when we hear a thud and turn around to see Monarch in the most ridiculous suit I've ever seen limping through a portal when a unified bunny and cat version of Chat Noir, Ladybug, and me drop in, following after him.

"What was that?" Chat asks when adult Bunnyx appears.

"Minibug, Kitty Noir, (s/n) cub!"

"I take it this means we've got a problem?"

"Yes with Monarch messing with time to try and get your miraculous he's messing with the events and changing everything. You're current state of being and even your lives in general are at risk."

"Monarch sure didn't waste any time using his new powers." Chat sighs, LB joining him.

"Of course, he had to start with the rabbit miraculous."

"I'm confused though...If the main timeline is supposed to have Monarch steal the rabbit miraculous, how do you have it in the future? It would've been taken away and prevented you from being here right?" I point out.

"Technically yes. In the original timeline, Monarch never stole the rabbit miraculous, Félix originally just gave Monarch the dog miraculous which he used to steal your yoyo and luckily you managed to pull out my miraculous before he could but it seems Félix decided to do something different. As for how I'm here, depending on what happens next if all goes well you'll be able to take back the rabbit miraculous and get the timeline somewhat back on track."

Monarch stood amazed inside Burrow, wherever he looked there was a different point in time. Ideas started racing through his head. He just needed a moment where Ladybug was in a pinch preferably a few years ago when she was still new to using the miraculous. From there stealing Chat Noir and (s/n)'s would be a breeze. He surfs through the events, stopping back when he first akumatized Lady Wifi. Ladybug was trapped, locked to the wall, and couldn't do anything, neither could her companions. It was so perfect why did he tell her to Ladybug go again? Well, he can fix that mistake now.

Monarch steps through into the past stealing Lady Wifi's phone and pausing her, enjoying the terrified look on his foe before pausing her too, just in case. Sometimes her miraculous gave her beyond-believable luck. He didn't even need to take her miraculous here, all he needed was to reveal her identity then history would re-write and he'd win.

We're dragged into Burrow by Bunnyx who begins frantically looking around for Monarch.

"I see you, going back to the fight against Lady Wifi when Minibug was defenseless," Bunnyx huffs in slight amused annoyance when she opens a portal and Monarch falls through.

Ladybug quickly ties him up with her yoyo, Chat and I point our weapons at him as he gives us a confused look.

"Ladybug? Chat Noir? (s/n)? How can you follow me through time? I have the rabbit miraculous!"

"Amateur. Time is like a river with multiple streams branching out for everything that has happened and could happen and the burrow is the middle spot where they all connect. Anyone who has the rabbit miraculous at any point in time be it past, present, or future can come in here while its 'current' holder is using it because the burrow isn't a time point. Get it?" Bunnyx explains.

"With Bunnyx's help, we're taking back the miraculous right here and now," Ladybug says causing Monarch to release the kwamiis from his cane and they cry out for help distracting us long enough for him to escape using Wind Dragon.

He proceeds to use Mirage to try and confuse us, forcing us on the attack to find the real one when he hits Bunnyx with Venom.

"BUNNYX!" The three of us cry when Monarch traps her with him thanks to shelter.

"If he takes her miraculous we won't be able to follow him through time!" LB says worriedly.

"CATACLYSM!"

"ICE STORM!"

Cha cataclysms the shield and I shoot ice at Monarch pushing him away from Bunnyx and trapping him in place.

"You won't win this time! I'm more powerful!" Monarch yells unifying more kwamiis in the process.
