Evolution: Part 3

We watch Alix and her dad hug goodbye and she promises to be back soon before she transforms. A brown suit with a white V-neck, her shoulders, and her sides was outlined with black. A white and brown mask, white boots with black outlines, and a brown dog-eared hat with a black spot is what she's wearing when she's done dubbing herself Canine Girl. With one final goodbye we enter Burrow and Canine Girl frowns at her paralyzed older self.

"Don't worry my magic ladybugs will fix her but first your ball needs to touch the rabbit miraculous that Monarch stole," Ladybug says while Rabbit Noir rewinds to when Monarch collapsed.

"I'm guessing he can't notice anything?" Canine girl asks with a smirk, tossing her ball in her hand.

The three of us nod and a portal opens for her to use Fetch.

"Perfect let's go to the perfect time and place to beat him at his own game," Rabbit Noir says, turning the time back to Hero's Day.

"To make sure he falls for it we'll leave him a little gift," LB smirks, placing her Lucky Charm in the middle of Burrow before we jump into time and have Canine Girl hide while we watch from the sidelines.

Monarch steps into Burrow cautiously looking for any sign of Ladybug, Rabbit Noir, or (s/n), smirking to see no sign of them. This was perfect he could fulfill his new plan thanks to Natalie. He looks down at the thumb drive in his hand that explains how to fix the peacock miraculous, all he had to do was give it to himself and none of this Tom-foolery that's happened over four years will ever happen. Approaching a time portal he rewinds to that night. The picnic...Where it all began. He couldn't help but watch the events unfold.

"Are you sure you're ready?" A younger version of Gabriel asks Emilie as he hands her the broken miraculous.

"I am," She tells him with a soft smile before looking at the broach with newfound hope.

Gabriel picked her up bridal-style and carried her inside. 

Monarch stops it at that point already recalling what happened next and how years later it would kill his beloved wife. This was it. He just needed to find a place where they'd easily find the thumb drive when an idea came to mind: on top of his sketchbook. They'd used it that night to make the sentimonster as detailed as possible. He re-winded back to where they had left it and he didn't resist the urge to laugh. This was the closest he's ever gotten to his goal and it was right in front of him. He gleefully steps through and places the thumb drive down before writing a note:

Gabriel Agreste,

Do not let Emilie use the peacock miraculous until you've looked at and applied what's contained on this thumb drive. If you don't there will be great consequences as the peacock miraculous is damaged and if it's used while damaged, the wearer of it will bear its wounds meaning Emilie will die in years to come. To avoid this I implore you to use the information provided to fix the miraculous before letting her use it. I beg of you to listen.

With that done he heads back into Burrow a sense of victory filling him until he sees it. A red miraculous box with black polka dots, sitting on the floor, mocking him. He's seen that box before but where? Looking around he sees it. Hero's Day. They were hiding and watching the battle play out. What was their goal? To see him de-transform and return to their time to deal with them? But with him changing history should be re-written right? Or by them also re-writing history does that overwrite his changes somehow? Monarch lets out a growl time travel was too complicated. But he wasn't gonna risk it. He wasn't gonna let them take everything he worked so hard for.

"I will destroy you three," He growls before stepping through the portal.

We only have to watch for a few minutes when we hear the thud of Monarch entering this time and we face him with a smirk.

"Canine Girl now!"

"FETCH!" The pocketwatch disappears from Monarch's pocket and he turns around in shock to see it land in Canine Girl's hands.

"Barrk, Fluff, UNIFY!"
