Jubilation: Part 3

"Of course, it's a trap! The idea behind every good trap is that you can't escape it!" The Darker Owl laughs, dropping Socqueline."

"I'm on it!" Chat shouts as he goes to catch her.

I go with Chat to protect him from any attack The Darker Owl might try to pull while Ladybug summons her lucky charm. After catching Socqueline I use my knives to cut the rope and we instruct her to get out of here when The Darker Owl tries to attack, Ladybug pushes us out of the way.

"Gotcha!" The Darker Owl shouts, shooting something at us and we close our eyes waiting for impact.

Ladybug reacts, rolling us out of the way of the attack before throwing the alarm clock at The Darker Owl, shattering his mask.

"If he has the power of Jubilation where's the miraculous of the pig?" Ladybug asks when I notice something peeking out of Mr. Damocles's pocket.

"A business card with Monarch's address," I mutter in disbelief.

Still, we couldn't afford not to check it out and it turned out to be correct and we battle Monarch, defeating him with ease and taking back all the miraculous. With Monarch defeated Ladybug and Chat Noir finally reveal their identities to each other, and get together while I finally get back together with Luka. We currently were on a double date at the movies.

"Cat-cola. Your favorite flavor," Chat jokes.

"How is it I just started noticing how charm-meowing you are?" Ladybug asks.

"Am I dreaming or did you just steal one of my jokes?"

"You know I thought you two would get better after knowing your identities, but here I am sorely mistaken," I shake my head at the two while Luka squeezes my hand reassuringly.

"At least you don't have to dance around the issue with them anymore."

"True, now that Monarch has been defeated and they know I can make sure they never live it down," I give the two a teasing smirk.

"Fine by me, I see why you two constantly made jokes," Ladybug smiles, cuddling up to Chat Noir.

"Why is that?"

"It's a good way to say that we're together."

Suddenly an alarm starts to ring and someone starts yelling at us to shut it off. We do and continue about our lives. Years passed and I was marrying Luka but once again the alarm interrupted while I was throwing the bouquet.

"Ladybug shut it off!" I yell at Ladybug who had caught the alarm.

Years continued to pass and I was living the life I wanted, Ladybug and Chat Noir had gotten married and started having kids while we and our superhero team protected Paris.

"Don't cataclysm the bottle this time." 

"They're so cute at this age." (Someone save me from this baby doll teenage parent nightmare. I'm resisting the urge to scream like when I first watched this with my friends...Yes we all screamed in terror)

We continue to live our lives happily but the alarm keeps following us wherever we go and constantly rings. We start getting really tired of it when Ladybug starts spitting them out of her mouth.

"Again? All these alarm clocks are turning into a real nightmare," She comments before her eyes widen, and as she starts to look around more ringing alarm clocks start appearing.

"Guys, this is a dream!" Her voice cracks as her eyes start getting glossy.

"I know M'lady living with you is the sweetest dream," Chat cups her face and she gives him a quivering smile before winding the alarm clock and making it ring.

"No. We're in an actual dream."

My eyes widen in shock as I start to realize Ladybug was right and my eyes begin to water as I look at Luka and ask. "Luka please tell me this is real."

"Of course, it is Mon Amour," He smiles at me and I start crying, his words confirming it even more.

Luka never liked to lie especially about hard truths he would apologize but still tell the truth. I slam my fist against the bench hard. I was finally happy, why couldn't this just be real? Why were we the only ones not allowed to be happy?!

"No!" Chat cries out, trying to silence the alarm but Ladybug wouldn't let him.

"I'm sorry Chat Noir but we have to wake up."

"I don't want to lose all of this."

"Neither do I my sweet kitty so kiss me," The two kiss.

"Luka...I don't know how much longer I can do this..." I whisper and he cups my face.

"You don't have to. You're too selfless for your own good. It's ok to be a little selfish, I hope you realize that soon enough," He tells me with that reassuring smile of his as he leans in and kisses me before I wake up.
