Mr. Pigeon 72: Part 4

After feeding Flaake I transform again and we head out to check on Mr. Ramier who sighs. "I was the victim of Shadowmoth again wasn't I?" "I wish I could tell you it would be the last time Mr. Ramier but that's still a miracle I can't perform," Ladybug tells him when Rena Rouge lands next to us, spellbook pages in her hand. 

"Don't be so sure. You've been so focused on your role as guardian you've forgotten you're still Ladybug," She points at the Ladybug pages covered in notes. "You found something in the spellbook?" I ask and she shakes her head. "There was nothing to find. I believe that what's in the spellbook isn't a finite set of rules but just a collection about what the previous guardians have learned about the miraculous so far." "If my power is creation..." LB mutters soon catching on. "Then create, yes there's bound to be limits like no reversing death but even if you found a limit to your abilities that's one more thing we know that still could be useful so push the boundaries till you find the limits."

Ladybug takes in a deep breath and begins to focus, the spots on her suit begin to glow pink as a ladybug symbol appears beneath her. Pink mist flies over her adding black accents to the middle of her suit, her hands, black lining underneath her feet, and a tiny ladybug charm near her neck along with slightly longer pigtails. 

She reaches into her yoyo and pulls out a small ladybug-themed charm that is black with four red dots and in the middle a turquoise circle with a dark purple outline surrounding it, and two matching jewels to attach the purple string. "Wow. What happened to your suit and what's that?" Rena asks as the both of us marvel at her. "It's a magical charm. Here Mr. Ramier, always keep this with you, it'll protect you from negative emotions."

Mr. Ramier takes the charm happily and prances out of the pool excitedly claiming he'd never be akumatized again while the three of us pound it. "Does this mean there's untapped potential to every miraculous?" I ask and Rena nods. "With enough practice and training who knows what each miraculous could do with their power besides the basics," Rena tells me before taking off. 

After things have settled down, Marinette and I meet back up with Kagami and stay with her until her car came to pick her up since it was raining, and she didn't have an umbrella. I zip up the rain coat I brought when Kagami turns to Mari. "You know Marinette that whole heart beating, tingling, knees-trembling thing, I felt all that...From you. You may claim to have moved on from Adrien but there's a part of you deep down that learned to love and appreciate Adrien for who he is after all this time. The only reason you don't realize it is because you're letting past actions and events control your every move to prevent making a mistake but once you over come that you and Adrien will be an exceptional couple."

Kagami's car pulls up and she gets in before Marinette can protest to her words. "Wow, you've had my umbrella all this time?" We suddenly hear Adrien asks and Marinette spins around to face him with a nervous smile while I step back a few to let them talk.

"Yeah, you-you're right, I keep forgetting to give it b-back. You can have it back now," She lightly stutters, but he shakes his head, pointing at the sky. "You're going to need it to get through all this." "True..." "Or we can give you a ride home?" He suggests as his car pulls up. Mari walks up next to Adrien and suggests something else. "We've got an umbrella, we could use it instead. Wanna walk home?" "I'd love to but I've got Chinese class," Adrien says sheepishly. 

"Adrien if you want to walk home with us then don't let the responsibilities your father shoved on you, make the decision for you. This is your life and you get to decide what you want to do," Mari tells him and he hesitates to walk to the car when the bodyguard honks the horn. "I'm sorry, I don't want to make him mad. Thanks though." "That's alright, you thought about it which is a good step in the right direction to taking your life back," Mari reassures him and he sends her a smile.

"See you tomorrow at school?" "See you tomorrow at school," He bonks his head while trying to enter the car and the two giggle at each other while I sigh, these two were still a hot mess. "Ready to go?" I ask and she nods as we start to walk home when Tikki pops up asking if she was ok. "Alya's grandma was right. Life's not about waiting for the storm to pass but learning to dance in the rain." "Why do you think I brought a rain coat?" I say with a smirk before dancing around in the rain, Marinette soon joining me.
