Luka Chapter Thirty-Nine

I entered the art room at Juleka's school to find our friends were already busy at work, preparing for the new movie they were making. I had been asked to work with (y/n) on the soundtrack for the movie again, and I couldn't deny helping my sister and our friends. I give a quick hello to everyone, before heading to the back to stay out of the news crew's way, put in my headphones, and start my work.

Around fifteen minutes later I felt someone standing next to me and out of the corner of my eye I saw it was (y/n) so I smirked as I gave her my attention. "See something you like?" "Good to see you too Luka, I see you've already started," She tells me, coughing in her hand to hide the light blush as she takes her seat. "It's always a pleasure to see you too (y/n)," I tease her once more with a wink before turning over to business and informing her of what they wanted done. Not long into our work and we hear a shout. "What?! That's my role?! Unacceptable!"

It was Chloé. Confused I turn to (y/n) hoping she has an explanation. "She's now realizing she's not playing a lead role," Chloé goes on to ramble about how she should be one of the main characters with her sister, leading her to point out Mylène's stage fright and offer to take over. "Is that her way of asking Mylène for the role?" "That's the nicest way she knows how it's better than her demanding the role," (y/n) shrugs before turning back to work and so do I, trying to think of a way to start some small talk.

"I noticed you uploaded your first song in a while today, I take it that means you're feeling better?" "Yeah, I do. You also seem to be doing better." "Well once I realized we weren't gonna drift apart I found hope," I hold in my chuckle as she turns her head away from me to internally squeal like the adorable bean she is.

The next day we went to the set to start filming, with another outburst from Chloé about not being the hero, claiming that the person who has been a hero should play the hero. "A hero? You put the lives of others at risk to make yourself look better and even teamed up with Hawkmoth, that's irredeemable. You're the worst possible person for this role," Thomas comments, angering Chloé who gets her dad to switch her role. From there things just kept spiraling as Thomas continued bullying Chloé and in turn, she'd change something about the movie in a heated reaction

Now we had Adrien in a cage, high up in the air among other ridiculous changes all because Thomas couldn't keep his mouth shut. "Mr. ASTRUC? You need to apologize to Chloé." "What for?" "For all your rude comments, haven't you noticed that every time you make some remark she makes a change to the movie? You need to stop and apologize before this gets more out of hand." "This is not my fault. Chloé is just a spoiled rich kid who's ruining this movie for her own entertainment and you're calling me the bad guy? How dare you!" He storms off into his trailer and I roll my eyes at him when (y/n) and Marinette walk up asking what is going on.

"I told Thomas he needs to apologize to Chloé because every time he makes some remark about her not being a hero she's making a change to the movie to prove him otherwise. If this keeps going we're never gonna finish the movie because he can't keep his mouth shut." "It's ok Luka, we'll get him to apologize and get this movie back on track, let's re-group with everyone and explain the situation then-" (y/n) tries to calm me down, grabbing my hand and rubbing circles with her thumb on my palm and I take a few deep breaths as I calm down while Chloé complained about her dynamite-slinging gorilla, causing her to leave.

With some convincing words from Marinette, we decided to shoot the movie in its original way and finish filming by the end of the day, and watch the screening the next day. It wasn't long before Chloé barged in demanding to know what was going on and she was told they went ahead and filmed without her for the good of the film and she ran off. Adrien goes after her and comes back a few minutes later to explain why she was upset when suddenly the ceiling is gone and a huge banana-like monkey with a banana car on top of it with Chloé at the top akumatized. The monkey attacks us with a swipe and even though I jump out of the way I'm turned into a banana.

I'm suddenly back, soon smiling at the miraculous ladybugs that had fixed everything and everyone tries to piece together what happened when Chloé approaches all of us with some tears and apologizes when Adrien reassures her it wasn't her fault and we all make Thomas apologize for what he said, he even felt the need to pay for a re-make of the movie. Zoé came up and gave her sister some words from Ladybug along with a necklace and I smiled to myself seeing (y/n) safe as we all talked about if we wanted to re-make the movie.
