Optigami: Part 4

"Buzz Off," Ladybug says after landing, soon grabbing the akumatized object and crushing it in her hand. Waving goodbye to the butterfly, Audrey is returned to us muttering about how everything was utterly ridiculous and a magical charm and placed in her hat. "Guys! How'd you get in?" Chat Noir asks as he runs into the room, Kaalki showing her presence. "Ah, that's why the horse miraculous wouldn't work."

"Sorry Chat, we would've gotten you but we didn't know where you were," I apologize and he shrugs as we head up to the roof, Chat being instructed to stay downstairs to collect the miraculous from Rooster Bold. "It was so easy to defeat the villain this time," Rena comments and Carapace smiles. "It's because we had good partners," We pound it and the two hand back the miraculous, Ladybug frowning even more. "I don't understand, it was so easy that I didn't even need my Lucky Charm. Usually, it's the key part of defeating the villain," I nod in agreement it is strange but I shrug. "Maybe it just exists to repair everything?"

Lzb turns from Nino and Alya, glancing into the make-up mirror before turning around and glaring at Nino. "We're gonna have to be a lot more careful now, it appears Shadowmoth has learned the identities of some of the heroes after all and has decided to use that. Isn't that right Shadowmoth? Alya step away from him, this isn't Nino but a sentimonster," Alya stepped back and I summoned my ice storm, freezing the sentimonster in place as I told her, "Go do what you need to do, I've got him," She takes off presumably to Chat.

A minute later the sentimonster disappears and the miraculous ladybugs fly around fixing everything and I meet back up with the two, asking "How'd you figure out that was a sentimonster?" "With my Lucky Charm and knowing my friends, they didn't do their normal high-five but we've got more pressing matters, it seems Shadowmoth has learned some identities."

We talked it over and decided for the moment we wouldn't do anything except plan to replace Alya and Nino depending on what Shadowmoth does with the knowledge of Carapace's and Rena Rouge's identities. Now that we were back at home after the event ended and made sure everything was okay, Alya, Marinette, and I talked about what happened. "I almost unmasked you, I should've never taken the turtle miraculous." "It's true you've made a mistake, it's made me think and I'm making a difficult decision to give you your miraculous permanently. We need an ally who can replace me if needed. Everything we know you will also know." 

Marinette says, handing the fox miraculous to Alya and I cross my arms. "Not that I see this as a bad decision but you really should've talked with me and Chat about that. At least tell me you're going to tell him," Before she could respond my phone went off and I looked to see Luka calling me. "I've gotta take this but this conversation isn't over." With that, I head up to the roof and answer the call.

"We don't know our enemies well enough. It seems Alya Césaire has a special status in the organization Ladybug has built up. Nino Lahiffe's identity is pointless with this information. I think it's time we take some more interest in Alya."
