Author: I can feel my brain cells dying from this episode already and I didn't have any left to begin with!

Checking my music website I smile to see the latest song I posted was doing well. The inspiration came from Luka's words at the career expo.

My gaze shifted from the computer screen to Flaake who was worriedly pointing at the sewing box that hid the miracle box. I become panicked at the sight of Manon trying to pull the secret compartment out. How did she even manage to pull out the opening enough to tug on it?!

Quickly I run up and get her attention. "Manon! How about you and Marinette do some drawing?"

She bounces excitedly when Mari walks up shaking her head.

"Ran out of paper, how about hide and seek?" Her nervous smile turns panicky when the kwamiis poke their heads out to shake their heads no. "Actually let's play with beads! We'll make necklaces!"

The trap door opens and in comes Ella and Etta.

"Shoot, you didn't tell me you were already babysitting Manon. I don't wanna do that to you, I'll cancel my date with Nino," Alya says apologetically, pulling out her phone.

"No, you don't have to! The more the merrier and the more pretty necklaces we can make."

"Are you sure?"

"Go, go! Enjoy your date."

"Buzz if you need me."

Alya leaves and chaos ensues as the twins and Manon start playing with the sewing box.

"Not the sewing box!" Marinette exclaims, yanking the box out of their grasp only for them to tickle her as Nino and Chris come up.

"Oh, I didn't know you were babysitting Manon and the twins."

"It's ok, one more won't make a difference, go have fun with your girlfriend."

"Thank you Marinette, you're the best!"

"No! Don't play with those!" I yell, chasing the kids around as they play with the stray kwamiis who try to get back to the sewing box.

"No! Not the kwa-shies," Mari joins in, catching their attention.

"Kwa-shies? Did you make them yourself?" Etta asks and Mari nods, trying to collect the kwamiis.

"Yes, it's a top-secret sewing project so put them back in the drawer-"

"I'm calling this one Sock!" Etta throws Kaalki to her sister and they all begin throwing or fighting over the kwamiis.

"OK, I think we should all watch a fun movie together instead," Mari says and they all gather in front of the screen demanding the Ladybug movie.

We both let out a groan.

"Don't you like it?" Manon asks and we give fake smiles.

"Yeah, we love it so much we've watched it one too many times," Mari says, putting the movie on.

It was like that one Ice Princess move craze years ago. Overplayed one too many times.

I continued to pack my bag/ purse for when I was heading out when Mari's phone rang.

"Adrien?" She questions before picking up. "Hey Adrien, how are you? Huh? You need me to do a favor? Yeah, I'd be happy to. See you soon."

I give her a confused look and she explains that Adrien is doing a photoshoot right now and his costume ripped, he asked if she could come and fix it.

"Ooo we're gonna get to see Marinette's boyfriend," Manon squeals, and the kids go to grab their bags.

"No, you can't come and I've told you before he's not my boyfriend. You're gonna be good and stay here with (y/n)-"

"Nope, I'm checking high schools out with Luka. Juleka asked me to check on him, he's supposedly been acting a little weird since the career expo last week," I cut her off and she starts humming in thought on who to leave the kids with.

Turns out she chose her grandpa. I ask Luka to meet me there but her grandpa immediately refuses.

"No. Babysitting is too complicated and I've got treats to bake-"

This causes the kids to run inside excitedly and start causing chaos inside, trying to throw records like a frisbee, playing with other things they weren't supposed to and Roland was starting to show how to play with real darts.

"No! Let's keep it simple Grandpa and let the kids watch a cartoon," Marinette exclaims, pulling her laptop out, and the kids instantly sit on the couch.

"You call that simple? What are all these buttons and where do you put the video cassette?" Roland asks looking over the laptop and Mari explains only confusing him more. "But that's not how it's done!"

"Don't worry, the kids know how it works."

I waved goodbye when Luka texted me he was here and we headed to the first high school he was looking into.
