Penalteam: Part 4

"Ladybug's twelve are in position with four minutes before Ladybug and Chat Noir transform back!" Didier reports as we get in position for the game.

"Ready for your countdown as a superhero Loserbug?" Penalty mocks.

"Never claim a goal before the ball has crossed the line Penalty," LB shoots back, giving Caprikid the go-ahead.

"GENISIS!" He creates a magic wand and taps us all, exclaiming, "Thanks to this magic wand I'm letting you all indefinitely use your powers. No more time limits, no transforming back, unlimited number of uses!"

"B-But that's cheating!" Penalty complains.

"Says the one who's been cheating the entire game with a lame excuse. Besides you're the one who wanted to play. So we're gonna play...Forever," I shoot back, giving Miss. Hound the chance to use fetch on the soccer ball.

The match begins and Penalty heads toward the goal with our ball when Miss. Hound summons the ball, giving it to Roosterbolt who uses his power to make the ball score every time he has the ball. With that, he makes a shot, scoring before smirking at Penalty. 

"That's how it's gonna be every time I get the ball."

This causes an argument against Penalteam as they try to play the game while we use our powers to our advantage to score over and over.

"So you're just gonna use that annoying power to score every time?! That's not fair!" Penalty shouts angrily, glaring at Roosterbolt.

"Yep, that's how it's gonna be. Forever."

"UPROAR!"

Penalty's cleats become quacking duck shoes and the goal a large bathtub while the soccer prisons turn into bubbles causing more fighting between the Penalteam who just kept shouting at each other to quit going quack-quack.

"I'm done with all of you! I can't stand it for another minute! Shadowmoth you and your akuma are ridiculous I had higher hopes for you!" She summons her ribbon back and rips it in half, freeing the akuma.

"No more evil-doing for you Megakuma. Time to de-evilize! Gotcha! Bye-bye little butterfly."

One miraculous ladybug later everyone was safe and sound and we all pounded it before heading back to our normal life. 

"Ms. Bustiet. Mr. Didier. We discussed it and Madelyn shouldn't have to play if she doesn't want to."

"How kind of you Dupain-Cheng," Madelyn scoffs before walking to the bench and talking with Lila.

"This means we're one player short again."

"I can play if that's ok with you," Nate speaks up as he approaches, Marc giving him a grateful smile.

Walking up I wrap an arm around Marc and pull him close. "When are you gonna ask Nate out already?"

His cheeks go red as he stutters "W-what are you talking about?"

"Oh come on Marc we all see the way you look at him. We've been rooting for you for ages. What are you afraid of?"

"What if he rejects me?"

"I doubt it, I mean he spends all his time with you and despite hating sports is here right now playing your favorite sport," I point out.

"O-Ok I'll ask him out after class," He timidly agrees and I pat his back.

"That's the spirit!"

With that, we enjoyed the rest of class playing soccer and at the end had a new couple in the friend group.
