Strikeback: Part 1

"Ladybug stop! We got bigger things to worry about," I say, grabbing Ladybug and making her look at the giant black and silver spiked sentimonster or akumatized person roaming the streets.

"OK, guess I'll have to deal with this small problem first but I'll be back to save you soon Adrien," She mutters as we chase after the thing, Chat Noir soon catching up with us.

"Ok, ladies, let's wrap this one up quickly, I've got a full schedule."

"Fine by me Kitty Cat, I've got urgent business to get back to," LB agrees while I give Chat a small smile, hoping that what he said is what I think it does.

We watch in horror as the enemy grabs the Ferris Wheel and throws it at us where below there was a crowd of people excitedly filming the situation. Using her yoyo Ladybug catches the Ferris Wheel and lets it lean on some buildings before scolding the pedestrians while Chat and I lead the villain away from people.

"Come on no time to waste CATA-" Chat says rubbing his neck before trying to summon his power Ladybug grabs his wrist.

"What are you doing?!"

"I use my power, you get the akuma, (s/n) the victim, and bam we can all go back to what we're doing," He explains and we shake our heads as LB holds Spikey over here still with her yoyo.

"You know what'll happen if you use your Cataclysm on a person akumatized or not, you'll kill them, and you know I can't bring people back from the dead."

"Oh yeah? Then explain Uncanny Valley."

"You got extremely lucky with that and you know it, we're not taking that risk again," I argue, shooting out my spear to trip Spikey causing him to fall as I continue. "Besides if it's a sentimonster you'll just send it out of control!"

"Yeah cuz that's control," Chat bites back gesturing to the building falling apart from Spikey falling.

"I'm with (s/n) it's too risky," Ladybug sides with me, crossing her arms while Chat rolls his eyes in annoyance.

"That's the problem with you, you never wanna take any risks!"

"Of course I do! I take risks all the time!"

"Really now? Would you risk knowing who I am behind my mask?"

"You know very well-"

The two continue to argue, giving Spikey the chance to get back up and try to punch us when I grab the two and jump off the building.

"Like I was saying you know very well I can't know your identity because then all it would take just once for Shadowmoth to akumatize me to get to you. I'm doing this to protect you. As for risks do you know how risky it actually is for all three of us to know everybody's identity?"

They continue to argue as we escape.

"I don't need you to protect me, Ladybug you and I will never get akumatized!"

I feel that itch in my neck again and shout "Except you already have been!"

My eyes widen as I realize what I just said, Chat Noir looking at me with confusion.

"What are you talking about? No, I haven't..." He turns to Ladybug. "Have I?"

"No, you just don't know what you're talking about."

"Maybe because you don't like talking to me about anything without me pleading, begging, or fighting to be told. So tell me have I been akumatized before?!"

"Yes! Ladybug I know you're scared but he needs to know about Chat Blanc," I yell, giving LB a stern look when Rena's voice rings in my ear.

"Look out!"

Looking up we see Spikey leaning down to grab us and we move, Ladybug thanking Rena for the assist.

"Quiet M'lady or someone could hear you," Chat hisses before our attention turns to a kid in a frog onesie riding their frog-themed bike toward the danger. "This conversation isn't over."

Ladybug deals with the kid when Chat spots the mayor trying to film and goes after him. My attention turns to a helicopter flying too close to Spikey. The helicopter is pushed away and flies out of control and I throw my spear through the helicopter doors as my spear lodges between two buildings and saves it.

"You think this villain is the reason why people are acting unusual?"

"Maybe the important thing is we won't be able to defeat this guy if we have to save people all the time. I'll go for reinforcements, stall him."
