Luka Chapter Forty-Six

I sit at the cafe (y/n) and I used to visit often while doing my homework when my phone buzzes. Looking down I see it was an unknown number. 

Unknown 5:16 pm

Head out back - (s/n)  

My eyes widen and I quickly pack my bag before heading behind the building to find (s/n) waiting for me.

"Good choice. This is a great place," She tells me with a smile, looking at the building fondly before handing me my miraculous.

My heart swells like it always does whenever she gives me my miraculous while it probably didn't mean much it meant a lot to me to see her repeatedly trust me with a miraculous while giving me a chance to protect her. A few minutes later I'm running across rooftops with Lady Abeille, Polymouse, Carapace, Ryuko, Pigella, King Monkey, Pegasus, (s/n), and Ladybug with no sign of Chat Noir. It made me worry about what kind of supervillain we were facing to have this many heroes out. We see the target: a golden safe turning people into money...That didn't seem too bad but I could be wrong.

"Pegasus try to get inside now!" LB orders and Pegasus makes a portal inside the safe before running into a solid wall of gold.

"I can't teleport in, there's no room with all of those coins."

Lady Abeille asks why this can't be left to Chat Noir and (s/n) explains that his personal life was getting in the way and I recall that his dad was making him go to an event about his 100th collection and after paralyzing Moolock with venom I use second chance to crack the safe. 

"Jackpot! It only took me a hundred tries," I say, finally tugging the vault open as gold coin spilled out, letting Ladybug deal with the aftermath as I head to the meet-up spot. 

Ladybug and (s/n) appear and I hand the bracelet back when it's snatched out of my hand by a bald man who began yelling at them.

"This really takes the cake. Nine! You used nine other miraculous that wasn't yours or (s/n)'s to defeat a single villain when Chat Noir could've just cataclysmed the vault!"

"We had to. Chat Noir was missing."

"What do you mean missing?! You can't just let the holder of the most powerful miraculous just go about as he pleases! What if he started acting out like Shadowmoth?!"

The three continue to argue and I keep silent and watch as the man Su-Han threatens to replace Chat Noir if Ladybug doesn't know his identity or if Su-Han doesn't know. Somehow I was dragged into this with plans to let me know Chat Noir's identity to back up (s/n) when she told him. The urge to say I already know begins to kick in but I hold my tongue that would seem to do more harm than good right now.

"Are we really gonna do this?" I ask after he leaves with a slight frown.

"We don't have a choice in the matter. We can't fight the celestial guardian and I don't want to risk losing Chat Noir..." LB says with a worried sigh when her yoyo rings. "Finally," She mutters before picking it up and telling Chat to meet them at the top of the Eiffel Tower.

"Ladybug what exactly is the plan here if Chat won't tell anyone but you?" I ask while we recharged our kwamiis.

"As you know we can't know each other's identity just as you all can't know ours because then we'd be of no interest to him. But if worst comes to worst another miraculous holder can know Chat's or my identity but not both," She explains and I take a mental note of that for any possible future events.

That's when I recalled that (y/n) knew both of their identities. "But then why does (s/n) know both of your identities? Wouldn't that pose the same problem?"
