Author: As a quick reminder while Stormy Weather 2 is after Gamer 2.0 it's nothing but a recap on the series which I don't think any of us need though the one tidbit that wasn't a recap still happened.

"Hey, buddies as you know Friendship Day is officially here." "Today hundreds of friendships will be created all over Paris, right Mireille?" "You got it Aurora. Once again buddies this year we're doing a group of four secret new friends picked at random who will go on an exciting adventure searching for a celebrity." "This time our celebrity is the muse of the Agreste brand: Adrien Agreste," Mireille and Aurora explain the game a bit before bringing Adrien onto the screen as he gives everyone a wave and hello.

"Hello..." Marinette gushes, waving at her computer screen while the girls and I shake our heads at her and bring her back from La La Land. "Oh no! What if they didn't get my sign-up text just like last year?! What if I don't get to take part in the game?!" She instantly starts freaking out and Alya laughs as she gives Mari her pin. "Not gonna happen cuz last year you didn't have your amazing BFF to make sure everything was gonna be fine."

"Not to mention I signed up with you and we both got the confirmation text, " I chime in, showing the confirmation text on her phone and she takes a sigh of relief. "It's starting!" Rose squeals as we turn back to the screen. "Let me recap the rules for our buddies here. When Adrien pushes this button, thousands of text messages will be set up all across Paris. In the message, you'll be given the first riddle to solve that will eventually lead you to your three new friends. Then while working together you'll attempt to solve more riddles which if done correctly will lead you directly to Adrien," Mireille explains the game and Adrien asks, "Ready? 3...2...1...Go!" 

He presses the button we all receive a simultaneous text message, each of us reading out our riddle and soon out runs Alya, Rose, Alix, and Juleka. "With one turn of the handle, I can raise the level? What evil mind came up with this one?!" Mari groans and I chuckle. "Calm down Marinette, I can help, I got the same riddle too so it looks like we're gonna be partners in this." "We are? But this is supposed to give us a new friend." "Well they did assign people randomly there was a chance friends would be paired up, now then, let's solve the riddle.

With a little quick thinking, we figured out the riddle and headed to Canal Saint-Martin. "This should've been obvious, the water rises when the locks are open with the handle. Now keep your eyes peeled, our other two friends must be around here somewhere. It wasn't long before we spotted another girl, a red-head with frizzy hair and rectangular glasses approach us with a wave, wearing the Friendship Day pin. 

"Are the two of you my buddies? I'm Liesel," We shake hands before she clutches her book bag, and looks around after we introduce ourselves. "Any sign of our other buddy?" "Oh no!" Marinette suddenly shouts, startling us as I ask, "What? What's the problem?" "It's worse (y/n), it's Kagami!" Mari points at Kagami across the bank.

"You know her?" Liesel asks and I nod. "She's an acquaintance of ours," Marinette starts to pout. "No way! She's brilliant, strong, and cute!" "So?" Liesel and I ask in unison. "And she's got a huge crush on Adrien! They're already fencing partners, their parents are friends so if we win she'll get all the credit and she'll wind up being his girlfriend for sure!" "She's already his girlfriend," I mumble to myself, honestly I'm surprised I was still one of the only few people that know, guess they were really serious about keeping their relationship on the down low to avoid fan backlash. "There's no way I'm doing this with her!" Mari says and begins to storm off while Liesel and I try to stop her, telling her how this wasn't fair to Kagami.

"Yeah right, she's so smart I'm sure she'd figure a way around it and probably do it twice as fast by herself, I bet we'd just slow her down. That's it! We slow her down so we lose and Adrien will never see her win and they'll never fall in love!" "What's wrong with her?" Liesel whispers to me and I whisper back, "She's also got a huge crush on Adrien and can't handle any other girl liking him as well," I sigh as I tell Marinette, "That's still not fair to Kagami, you'll ruin the whole experience not just for her but for Liesel and me too-" I'm cut off when Marinette drags us over to Kagami and feigns excitement. "Kagami! Wow, this must be fate, I mean what were the odds of us being paired up? So awesome!"
