Dearest Family: Part 3

Chat Noir and I run deep into the sewers before de-transforming and feeding our kwamiis.

"Get your strength back you two, we're not out of this yet," Adrien sighed, resting his head against the wall.

"Nope. It doesn't help Tikki is in a sense incapacitated," I grumble.

"What do you mean?"

"Marinette's dad and her grandpa made a new galette recipe apparently sometime today Tikki got a hold of it and now..." I trail off, Plagg soon connecting the dots.

"She's got a giant craving for it and that's all she can focus on?"

"Yep. She called me for help but it seems her craving affects Ladybug too so we might be stuck dealing with those three and probably grandma too on our own."

"Wait, Marinette's parents and grandparents were akumatized? Over what?" Adrien asks worriedly.

"Her grandma got her a motorcycle as an early graduation gift but Tom thinks it's too dangerous, Rolland thinks she's not old enough, Gina thinks Marinette can handle it, and Sabine thinks this should be left to Marinette's decision," I explain, recalling the argument.

"Then we have to help her." 

"We can't without Ladybug."

That's when the ground begins to shake. Confused Adrien takes a peek outside.

"What's going on out there?" I ask.

"There's a giant galette lucky charm in the sky."

"Oh sugar biscuits," I mumble, realizing that Tikki had used her powers.

"That's not good Sugarcube's used her power," Plagg groans. "Tikki appears to have a little case of the munchies."

"A little?" Adrien and I ask in unison and Flaake explains.

"Thankfully the last time was centuries ago when chocolate was found. It rained chocolate mousse for eight weeks."

"But don't worry, there's a reason there's a kwamii of destruction," Plagg says with a wink before we transform.

Quickly we both power up into our space suits and head into space to deal with the giant galette.

"CATACLYSM!" Chat summons his power and the lucky charm explodes.

"ICE STORM!" I use my ice to create a net to catch stray pieces from gravitating toward Earth and throw them into the sun.

With the giant galette taken care of, we head back to Paris to deal with Marinette's family who had stopped bickering enough to realize Marinette was missing.

"Thanks for your help," Ladybug thanked us as she landed next to us. 

"How's your kwamii? She all better?" Chat asks.

"Yes, it won't happen again."

"Good, now we can focus on the problem. Not only has Shadowmoth re-akumatized the Dupain-Cheng family but he somehow managed to do it to Sabine and Rolland which shouldn't be possible, you gave them a magical charm," I say as we watched the four from above.

"Yes, but it appears he found a way to overpower their magic. It's as we feared if we can upgrade and change our powers so can he. We can deal with that later but first, we have to save them again," LB says, determination laced in her voice.

Jumping down we started fighting the trio, focusing on Befana first as we dodged her attacks, tied her up, and snatched her candy container.
