Ikari Gozen: Part 4

The two exchange a few blows with their weapons, sending cars flying our way. Ryuko appears next to us and slices a car out of the way and Chat pushes me and LB out of the way of the next attack, causing him to slam into a vehicle and become defenseless enough to eat. "No!" Grabbing mine and Ryuko's hand, Ladybug runs off and we hide to get a breather and Ryuko apologizes. "I behaved hastily and failed, I'm not worthy to fight beside you," She goes to take her miraculous off when LB stops her.

"You made a mistake as we all do every day but that's not a reason to give up fighting. You're the only one who can help me, that's why I chose you but we need to work together as a team. We don't have much time left here's the plan," She nods in understanding and activates her wind dragon, and flies into Ikari Gozen while I get into place and activate my ice storm. It wasn't long before LB lead Ikari Gozen to me and she froze as water starts leaking out of her and she falls to her knees, dropping the bokken and puking up Chat Noir. I freeze her immediately afterward before she could grab her bokken again and Chat Noir cataclysm's it, Ryuko reforming and breaking it, setting the akuma free for Ladybug to do her job.

"Bye-bye little butterfly," LB waves before turning to the three of us and we do our usual pound it. The red car returns and out steps Mrs. Surugi as she looks around confused and asks, "What's happened to me? Where's Kagami?" "Your daughter is nearby ma'am, she'll be here soon," Ryuko reassures her before we all take off.

Ladybug and Ryuko land in an alleyway and Ryuko de-transforms and sadly hands back the miraculous when she sees Ladybug extend her hand for it. "I'm guessing that means I wasn't good enough?" "Quite the opposite, you learn fast but to protect yourself and everyone you love like your family and friends, and all of Paris I have to take back the miraculous from all my superhero friends I call on for help." "I don't have many friends," Kagami admits with a frown and Ladybug smiles. "It's not important to have lots of friends, what matters is the ones you have are true friends. Can't wait to work with you again once Hawkmoth's suspicions about you being a miraculous holder are no more. Bug out!"

Liesel, Marinette, and I met back up at Canal Saint-Martin and wait for Kagami when she soon approaches with a disappointed sigh. "The game is over, we lost," She shows us Alya's selfie with Adrien and her group. "No, we won the right to get orange juice together if you'll let me and accept my apology, I was unfair to all three of you by sabotaging our chances in the game just because of my own misconceptions, I'm so sorry." Liesel shrugs since this whole ordeal wasn't based around her and we all look to Kagami. "I'm not sure I can call you a friend yet Marinette, what you said hurt but I am willing to give you a second chance and so I can see why Adrien calls you a good friend."

"Oh uh...Did he tell you we were friends?" Mari asks, her cheeks going pink at the mention of Adrien before she wraps her arms around Kagami and me and I connect my other arm with Liesel as we head out to go get orange juice, as we asked about the blood type connecting to personality that Kagami was talking about earlier and if it's like the zodiacs. When we reach the cafe we make sure to take a selfie to commemorate the start of our new friendship.
