"Why did you tell Nino everything? You promised you wouldn't!" Marinette scolds Alya who tells her, "I didn't I swear! Besides even if I had told him anything he'd still be clueless." "Marinette it's not that hard for everyone to see how you feel about Adrien, our entire class knows except Adrien but that's cause he doesn't know how to read social cues very well," I chime in before Alya tells us her plan. "Who cares anyway? I've set everything up with Nino, Luka, and (y/n) so you can finally pour out your heart to Adrien girl!" "Wait what?" "We'll take off leaving you two solo then you can spill your beans," She explains further and Marinette grips the handrails of the stairs and leans on it in shock before we tug her to move forward causing her to start gripping her hair and freak out.

Alya gives Nino a thumbs up as I start to whisper to her how she can't do this when she facepalms at Nino who was probably stumbling with his words because he was worried about the plan going accordingly. She silently tells him to zip it when Marinette clings onto Alya. "No not like this! I'm so not ready, I'd have to practice first and wash my hair and I'm not even wearing my lucky socks." "It's up to you Marinette if you don't wanna confess we can't force you not to mention we don't even know if Adrien is still single," I say mainly to Alya hoping it would get her to back off but she shrugs.

"Only one way to find out but I'm telling you today's the day," Mari freaks out when Adrien looks back at her and looks for Manon who was looking at all the statues. Once she gets Manon we get in the elevator and head to the workshop. "Welcome to the workshop. This is where our sculptors create and repair all of our statues," Véronique says before opening another door showing the wax room. "This is where we store our wax and comes straight from our very own bee hives on the roof of our museum," Théo enters the workshop and gets Adrien set up as we look around. "These are really well done," Luka says looking at one of the heads of the statue and Théo nods exclaiming, "It's genuine yak hair," He sets a timer up and tells Adrien, "It'll ding when it's over, we'll be back as soon as possible." "Take your time," Théo and Véronique leave while Nino pranks Manon, pretending to be a statue before spooking her.

"My turn! My turn! I wanna play statues too! Marinette let's go play hide and seek and statues in the museum!" Manon starts tugging on Mari who shakes her head. "We can't Manon we came here to keep Adrien company," Manon pouts and Alya gives me, Luka, and Nino a wink before telling Manon, "We'll play with you, Marinette you take care of Adrien, he must not get bored a single second," She drags out of the room and holds the door for a few minutes as Marinette tries to open it shouting, "No! Don't leave me all alone with him!" Things go quiet and we head further into the museum since this was one of Alya's simpler plans and Marinette definitely wasn't gonna confess I'd let this slide for now and hopefully tell them that Adrien has a girlfriend and this isn't fair to either of them.

Marinette looks back at Adrien with a panicked look and he looks down disheartened as she quickly corrects herself. "That's not what I meant to say I just..." "Are you mad at me Marinette?" Adrien suddenly asks her, shocking her to the point she knocked over a bucket filled with eyes. "No, of course not! Why would you say that?" "Nino told me-" "I have no idea what Nino told you but whatever he told you is totally untrue," Marinette stated matter of factly while she cleaned up the eyes and Adrien lets out a sigh of relief.

"So that means you like me, right? I was afraid you didn't like me." "Of course I like you! Uh like but not like that. What I mean is you're not exactly a 'good' friend, you know?" She starts stumbling over her words, disheartening Adrien again. "Ok...But then if I'm not a good friend what am I to you?" He asks sadly and Marinette starts tapping her face to try and calm down before she starts stuttering with her stumbled words. "Sorry that's not what I meant what I want to say is hard to say but the truth is you're one of my closest friends but even more than that you're..." Her face flushes red as she tries to will herself to just say it but Adrien's perked-up face wasn't helping. "TOILETS! I really gotta go to the toilet now," She bolts and bolds out the door, Adrien watching her leave in a confused state, wondering what kind of friend Marinette saw him as.
