Chapter 10: Is It Hot or...?

“Sleep with me”
Prapai didn't know how to react to this. Did he mean sleep together something else entirely. Prapai stood up from the bed but Sky held onto his hand, looking at him with his hazel coloured eyes and said “Please, just for tonight, you know I never make requests like this.” Prapai's hesitation immediately turned to acceptance, he found himself laying by the corner of the bed. He turned to Sky and gave him an instruction “ I'll do whatever you want for tonight but I have one request, wherever you're going, make sure you take a car. I don't care which one, just enter and go, can't have you looking sad or depressed on the road or in a bus with people watching, you can do that in a tinted car.” Sky nodded at this instruction and laid down to sleep. He felt comforted knowing Prapai was there beside him, he smiled and dozed off. Prapai didn't have it so easy. Thirty minutes later his eyes were wide open.  The man who had been sleeping facing the other side was now contending with the corner of the bed with him. His breath, his hair, his sleeping face. This was something Prapai had never experienced before. He was used to sleeping alone, making Sky the first person who had gotten this close to him, who he had easily found himself comfortable around, but never this comfortable. Prapai folded his arms and legs turning them to the other side of the bed. A little push from Sky would land him on the floor. Prapai wanted to leave yet he chose not to because Sky had asked for a favour. He turned around to look at him and noticed he was laying on one of his injured hand, so he gently pulled the hand from underneath him and placed it on the bed. He sat up on the bed sighed holding both of Sky's hands and healed them, not completely though, just to the point that the pain was minimal. Prapai chuckled at his helplessness. Sky had really put him in a bad position. He was getting tired so he yawned, laid back down and closed his eyes. He made sure to put Sky's hand over his chest so he would not roll on it again, biggest mistake he ever made. From his chest, the hand ended up taking a journey all over his body, a little movement and the hand found itself somewhere else. Prapai contemplated leaving the room. He held onto his pillow for dear life. Sky was making him feel things, things he had never felt before. He couldn't tell whether he liked it or not, but he was feeling tingly inside. Sky came closer, Prapai felt his breath on his shoulder. Sleeping became impossible so he opened his eyes. Sky was right beside him, his hand wrapped over him. Prapai motioned his body to face Sky's. He turned on the bed lamp beside him so he could look at him clearly. Sky was really something else. He was visually appealing. Sky was slender with a tiny waist that Prapai looked at and felt his hand could wrap around. Pai allowed his eyes to feast on the person in front of him. He was initially concerned by his thoughts but since everywhere was silent, his breathing was the only thing he could hear. Pai let his hand wander. He didn't touch Sky, but made an air image of him. Sky was really handsome and had delicate features. Pai began to fantasize, this was when he got up and left the room.  And said “ I think I've really lost my mind, what am I thinking? At least not for Sky, is this how it would feel if I laid beside anyone else? This is crazy, I am crazy.” Prapai felt he was really fighting for his life earlier. He went to the washroom to look at his face. He poured water on his face, put his hand over his lips, he was losing it for sure. He sat down on the toilet seat. What was happening to him, he was clearly feeling things that were obviously new to him. Pai took a minute and left the house to cool down. He took a walk and returned. He went back to Sky's room and fell asleep. The next morning. He went to his room to process all that had happened he held on tight to his pillow. He was finally able to sleep.
Rain felt that the next day would be awkward between him and Payu so he reached out to Sky that they needed to hang out. He sent a message to Payu that he was going to be absent from work the next day. There was no prior announcement, he just ghosted him. Sky woke up the next morning to Rain's call, he answered. He took his shower, opened Prapai's door and found him snoozing, he didn't want to wake him up so he left a message on his bedside table, he also sent a text to his phone and left. His hands were feeling so much better and he was sure that Prapai took part in it. He left the house, with a car key, he didn't want to be stubborn. He picked up Rain and they went to the beach. They both decided to have a pact and talk because they felt they were in the same boat and needed to stick together, having an Immortal at their beck and call. Rain began by sharing his problems with Sky who listened attentively to him and said “ So what you're saying is that you're in love or you like P'Payu, am I correct?” Rain replied “ yes you are, but it's not like I'm in love with him though, I just feel, he treats me so well and doesn't have an ulterior motive seems very suspicious to me, so I ... I kissed him. ” Sky has a shocked and bewildered expression on his face “ So you mean to tell me that to find out if you have feelings for P'Payu, kissing him will somewhat make things clearer? How did that work out for you?”
“ Not so well, I'm more confused now than I was without knowing. So what do you think I should do?” Sky smirked and responded “I'm pretty sure you've done enough as it is, just give it time, then you'll know what to do. But in a more logical approach, I don't think you should fall for him, what if they both up and leave, what then happens to you? Your feelings? I think you shouldn't put your heart through the ordeal till you're sure.” Rain listened attentively. He asked about Sky and Prapai but was shocked to hear what his boyfriend had done instead and asked “ Did you tell P'Pai?”
“ NO WAY, he might end up killing my ex seeing how protective he is, he nearly killed the other guy, remember. Hell no.”
They laughed it off. Their beach date was memorable as he got to know more about Sky and his likes, they were comfortable around each other and it was nice to have someone they could confide in.
Prapai eventually woke up to see the note. He sent a message back, telling him to be safe with his hands and to visit a clinic to clean it properly before returning home.  Prapai went to the living room and sat down, thinking of the events of last night “Does it mean I like him or it's just a human thing.” Sky had replied that he wouldn't be back till the very next day, Pai wired money to him and told him to use it so he doesn't get stranded. Prapai had another adventure to undertake. He really wanted to be sure of what he was feeling. So he went out to a bar and sat there, in no short time, a lady approached him asking if he could sit with her. Prapai obliged and they sat down talking, he was getting close and asked the lady if he could go to her apartment. She didn't see anything wrong and accepted, in her mind, she was about to get the best sex of her life, while he was thinking of a social experiment. On arriving, it was still a bit early and asked if he could rest a bit. She accepted, he stretched out his hands to her and she came and lay on his chest. Prapai had broad shoulders that were muscular. She used her fingers to feel it up. Nothing, she caressed as much as she wanted, but there was nothing. Pai sat up, and looked at her. He was thinking straight, he wasn't getting any urges whatsoever. It was different, very different with Sky. He apologized, gave her a gift and told her it was a mistake he came. He went back to his car feeling very confused. That means this doesn't come from women, probably men. He went to Payu grabbed him and took him to his house “ Sleep with me, I want to confirm something.” Payu was sure Prapai had finally lost his mind. He tapped his face, looked directly at his eyes and asked “ Have the human world taken your senses?” Prapai realised he was really being silly asking this from Payu. He sat down and narrated what happened last night to him. Payu suggested he should go back and meet Sky to confront what he was feeling. Sky was returning the next morning. And it was already evening Prapai asked Payu if he was still going to do what he asked. Payu gave him the stink eye and they both laughed it off. Prapai needed to prove his point so he went to a bar again. This time a guy flirted with him as well, but rather than taking him anywhere, he let him feel him up. Once this was done Prapai upped and left the bar. It was all off. Everything that wasn't Sky felt like a mistake. Prapai stayed in his car for a while hitting his head on the steering wheel, what was happening to him. He drove home. Prapai staggered inside the house as the realization hit him. He liked someone that belonged to another. He shoved this thought aside. He wanted to wait for him to confirm what he was feeling. He slept on the couch and in no short time, he heard a car pull in. Sky didn't stay till the next day. Sky and Rain knew they had slacked off too much. Rain needed to face Payu head on and Sky was going to start working the next day. So they were going to be responsible boys and return. Sky dropped off Rain at the shop as it was about to close. He went in and was met with a stern Payu, who scolded him for slacking off. There was no mention of the kiss. They cleaned up the place with the other three employees and they all went home. Rain walked beside Payu through the corridors to Rain's house. On getting there, Rain opened the door, turned back to stare at Payu who was waiting for him to open the door to get inside so he could go home.
“ P' I'm really sorry about today, I'll make it up to you, and about yesterday's kiss, I know it meant nothing to you but I... I do not apologize for it. Good night boss.”  As he was about to slam the door, Payu stopped him and allowed himself in...
Prapai stood up to welcome Sky. Sky saw him, and felt this warmth. As he walked towards Prapai, Prapai was having different thoughts running through his head and began to sweat. Sky got closer and found Pai sweating, he put his hand over his head, Pai took his hand away. He felt like he was suffocating. He took a step back, confusing Sky. Sky followed him, he stopped at a wall, as there was no way to go back anymore. Sky smirked
“ P'PAI? what are you hiding?” Sky went one step further by placing his hands into Prapai's pockets aggressively, touching the thin layer of cloth that separated his pocket from his skin. Sky's titillating scent filled his nostrils, he smelt to good. When all of this was going down, Pai was feeling emotionally attacked while Sky was loving this. He took his hands off grabbing Prapai's round butt. Prapai almost let out a moan from this but he used one hand to hold his mouth. Sky was unknowingly testing him. Sky didn't notice any of this and raised his hand to Prapai's chest pocket. This was when Pai knew he was getting overly aroused by what was happening, he held Sky's hands and said gazing at him “ You really don't know how much trouble you're causing me do you, Nong Sky!”
