Chapter 40: Tasty

Prapai and Payu walked cautiously towards Phiti who was smiling brightly at them. His smile was quite menacing. Phiti was the definition of a beautiful man. He had delicate features. He was truly a sight to behold as he looked incredible to anyone that saw him. He was step brothers with Moss and was known to be the more brilliant one in the family. While Moss was crafty and cunning, Phiti was calculating and clever. He chose his words wisely and soon rose to Lord's Council. He saw everything that happened and was silent. Even when his dad wept and cursed Payu and Prapai, he said nothing. He was silent.
Approaching Payu and Prapai he was cool. He stretched out his hands to shake them, they both shook him back, Payu even went as far as hugging him. Payu and Prapai and Phiti were from the same village. They had known each other for so long there was no bad blood between them.
Phiti knew about the things his brother did and accepted that there was no saving Moss. They went back to the house he bought and the Protectors of the three Realms sat. Phiti was the first to speak
Guys, it's been so long, I've been hiding for so long, I'm finally able to come out and see you, how are you Prapai?
" I'm good and you?"
" Never better. What about you Payu."
" I've been through too much, so much that you can't even fathom." Phiti sat in a more comfortable position and spoke.
" I'll cut to the chase. I summoned you both here with the Lord Council of Protectors. My father wants me to take revenge on the both of you. I am expected to Kill Sky and Rain, your boys and then kill you too. But I know it wouldn't be that easy so I need you to beg my father. He agrees and I have a smooth reign. I want nothing to do with the problems my brother caused. I feel he deserves it however, I have to do my civic responsibility as his brother. So what's it going to be." Payu stood up and pointed his hands to Phiti
" If YOU LAY A FINGER ON RAIN AND SKY, YOU WOULDN'T LIKE ME ONE BIT!
" Calm down Payu. Since when did you become so soft..." Phiti's voice was still calm.
" Well, since they were put into our care." Prapai responded
" I heard the great Payu and Prapai fell in love, how does that feel? Isn't it weakening to know that you have limited time with them?"
" Phiti stop messing with us. What do you want?"
"I want closure, that's all, nothing more, nothing less."
" And how do you want to get it, huh?" Payu asked still standing.
" Simple, I want the both of you to just continue being friends with me. I mean no harm, seriously."
Payu and Prapai nodded they stood up shook hands with him and left the house.
They returned back to Arityl, only fine Sky and Rain sleeping soundly. Prapai carried a sleeping Sky and brought him to Carityl, while Payu joined Rain on the bed cuddling him. He felt so safe in his arms. To an extent both parties were a bit relieved. The next day they returned back to Earth as Payu and Prapai thought they had averted the impending danger. Sky's phone was buzzing with calls. He checked and it was his secretary. The called back and she sounded distressed
" Sir, good morning, the club event is going to be today. Hope you've gotten in touch with the CEO and a you're prepared?"
That was when it stuck Sky that they had a grand event in the evening. He informed the “CEO” about it. A lot needed to be prepared. He made a lot of calls to the extent Prapai had to leave the room to let him work. Pai was nervous. He thought about so many things that brought him to this very moment. He was going to step in as the official CEO of the company. No more working from behind. He was not going to let Sky shoulder all the responsibilities anymore. Sky was bullied by external investors for a while not knowing that the main reason the building was still up was because of him. They talked about it and Sky kept asking if he would be okay with everything, the responsibilities and all. Prapai answered " so I can be a reliable shoulder for you to lie on when you're tired and a formidable army for you when you're weak." Sky could feel the butterflies and had to move away from Pai before he caused a storm for him inside.
Prapai decided to get a driver as they both had a lot of errands to run. When they arrived at the clothes fitting, based on specifics, Sky had asked for a daring outfit for himself and a dashing outfit for Prapai. Prapai came out first with his dashing suit which got a lot of ooohhhhs and aaahhhs from the people who saw it. Everything about him was gorgeous. Sky applauded and praised how well he looked. It was Sky's turn and as he got out, Prapai immediately objected. Sky opted for a low necked outfit as it was just a show off event. They both argued about and eventually Sky won by whispering " how romantic would it be if I'm by your side all the time, wearing this." Pai's fears dissipated at one and he wore a smile on his face. They bickered about so many other things and in no time, it was already evening and they were both fashionably late. Prapai looked dashing while Sky looked Charming. They exuded different auras that made everyone feel they were indeed in charge. Prapai made a speech about talking over after being away for a while. Prapai was bored and desperately wanted to go home but he needed to see it to the end because of Sky. Sky who promised to be by his side the whole night was caught up on a lot of work leaving Pai to fend for himself. They had a talk with a senior advocate so Sky who sighted this from afar came running and introduced him to Prapai. The man who stood there, rather than communicate, was enthralled by Sky. He looked so good. The senior advocate had drank a lot so he didn't even know when he opened his mouth and said " can I have your secretary Khun Pai, he looks like my type."
" What? What did you just say?"
Prapai sounded angry. Sky had to physically hold him back and spoke up " sir, I'm not a Secretary, I'm the Assistant Director."
" Can I have the assistant director then." Sky could tell things were about to escalate so he needed to think fast. He took alcohol from a serving tray behind him. He drank it and coincidentally, it spilled on him. He acted so hurt by this and excused himself with a worried Prapai trailing behind him. He got to the bathroom and with a force pulled Prapai to himself.
" If you behave today, forget all the anger, I'll let you play your favourite game on my body." Sky kissed him on the lips and neck, totally subduing all Pai's anger then whispered in his ears
" This is just the preliminaries. If you play your game well, you might just see it to the finals."
" You're too tasty, this game is unfair."
