Chapter 59: Fulfilling Hunger

" Yes, that's true. So can we take this back home?"
" Sure.

Payu stood looking at Rain who was biting his lower lip. He could tell something was wrong. Rain acted obnoxious.
" What's wrong Rain?"
" Nothing, why are you asking?"
" You are fidgeting."
" It's nothing P'Payu."
" Rain, you are a horrible liar and you know it, so just tell me what's wrong?"
" P'Payu, I think I might say something that would break your heart. Sky said I shouldn't you but I find it difficult to keep a secret from you."
" Okay, I'm all ears."
" Well, when we went into the plant , we find Priscilla there"
" She's in there? How is she? Is she still alive? Hope..."
"P'Payu, she's the problem, she caused all the problems for you."
" Rain, I don't understand what you're talking about."
Well, you're not dying, and everything was done by her." Payu was trying his best to listen to Rain but was failing
" Rain... I know you're really tired and confused but, accusing Priscilla just doesn't make any sense."
" P'Payu I know recently things have been rocky and a lot of challenges but how did I know you made a deal with a rock and it is nonexistent now? P'Payu you know there are somethings that I don't lie about.."
" Rain, this is ridiculous, don't you see that? Priscilla is dead, she went through the harshest of treatments and now she's no more, if you're angry with me let me know so I can make amends but blaming her for all that has befallen me and you ."
" P'Payu she said that...
"Rain, can you just stop, this is not something I expected from you. What do you want from me to say? Huh ... Rain?" Just then the door opened to reveal Pai and Sky who were holding hands and giggling, it was such a nice sight but the gloominess in the room.
Sky was the first to ask
" What's wrong?" Payu charged at him and shouted " What nonsense have you been feeding Rain... Huh Sky, what bullshit story have you been telling him." Sky knee exactly what this was about and his heart dropped. There was gravity to telling Payu about Priscilla and it was clear Rain was bad at reading signals.
" Why would you talk to him like that." Pai flared up. Sky had to calm the situation as the noticed they were both really upset " what did Rain say."
" What does he mean by Priscilla is the cause of everything? What have you been feeding him?" Sky instantly went cold. Rain had dug a pit for him and he had fallen in with no parachute. There was no helping this and he had to say something. He just got good with Pai and could see his relationship going down the drain. This was going to cause a serious rift between them so he said " can we be taken back to Earth first." Before Pai could respond, Payu held him and flew down with both Rain and Sky. Pai came later as he was very confused about everything happening. They landed in Sky's house. When Pai arrived Sky moved away from him a bit then said " I know it sounds crazy but it's true. The person causing the problem is Priscilla."
" What?" This was what Pai said.
Sky sighed and narrated everything to him word for word with Payu listening restlessly. Pai was a bit more patient but what he was hearing was not making sense to him at all.
" Sky, where did you hear all of these?"
" From her."
" Rain, I know you're jealous of her but this is going far." Payu told Rain this and Rain felt really hurt " you think I'll go this far with something serious like this? P'Payu you should know me better than this."
" Rain can you just stop, are you sure of what you saw? It could be an apparition?"
" P'Payu, I know what I saw. I know this is difficult to believe but she faked everything. You and Pai were lied to by her. She..."
" Can you just stop." Payu said. He knew if he stayed, he would utter words he would regret.
" Rain, can you just say you're lying? Huh, can you?"
" P'Payu, please believe me."
" Rain, it's impossible right now. Excuse me, I really need to clear my head" Payu walked out the door leaving Pai and the remaining two. Pai took steps back. " I'll go talk to him." Pai walked out too, leaving both parties, Sky looked at Rain with a furrowed brow, it was now clear to Rain what he had done. " Sky, I didn't think it would go this way?"
"Rain, did you actually think? Do you know how big this thing you said has caused? Why didn't you think?" Rain felt like cold water was poured on him and he began shivering " Sky what do I do?"
"Rain, you really fucked up, I planned that we would talk about this and how to present this together. You went ahead of me and told him everything, how could you? P'Payu might never trust you again because of this. Why did you do this?"
" I was nervous, and felt he needed to know."
"Now he does, are you happy? Are you?"
" Sky, not you too."
" Rain, you've ruined my relationship, Priscilla was more than a friend to them, she was once their everything. You can't ruin their memory of her. That's what you did Rain."
" How can I fix this? "
" For this, I don't know, but I think this is it for us. She won, we lost. No matter how much we mean to them, they'll chose her everytime Rain.
