Chapter 58: My Boyfriend

At night, Rain woke Sky up and took him to the garden. They were not to leave Carityl for now so they could fully recover. They both whispered as they spoke
" Should we tell them?"
" Not yet?" Sky replied
" Why?"
" Rain, Priscilla is someone they have known all their lives, grown with and died pitifully, do you think they'll believe us?"
" Of course they do, they love us enough to believe this much don't they?"
" No, they don't. Rain this is really complicated. We can't just bring it up, it might end up causing a rift in our relationships so I suggest for now we don't."
They both sat there for a long time contemplating what to do. It was a difficult thing to find out that the cause of your problem is the one you're protecting the most. It would shatter them both.
" Just tell Payu that he's not dying, that you went into the plant and begged and it accepted. As for Priscilla we will both find a convenient time to bring it up, but definitely not now."
" I agree." They were going to use their time in Carityl to be closer to their boyfriends. Earth was always a place that made them stressed and pressured. But now they were here, there was peace for them, and so far, it was the safest place to be. They both agreed and returned back. Someone heard them and snuck back in.
They sat at the table to have breakfast the next morning. It was quite nice until Rain raised a topic
" Hypothetically speaking, if you find out the person you love the most have been against you, how would you feel?"
" Rain, this is so random." Prapai asked.
" I know but I just wanted to ask."
" Pai don't scorn my boy, he's just curious." Payu said, Rain had a grin on his face and said " thanks babe." Pai looked appalled.
"Okay, well, it depends on the person, but I'll definitely be hurt by it." Payu answered
" Fine and what if you find out this person is the cause of everything happening to you, or to us? How would you feel then?"
" Rain what are you driving at?"
Sky shook his head so Rain could stop as he saw he was about to speak more, Sky interrupted
" Can we not have such a discussion when eating, maybe later." Rain realized his error and laughed it off as best he could. Sky was visibly upset and soon it was noticable by all most especially Pai who asked " Sky? What's wrong?"
" Nothing, I'm just tired that's all."
Sky wanted to stand up and leave feeling disappointed in Rain but he knew he was trying to fix his relationship with Prapai so doing nothing would be the best, he relaxed. He wasn't going to let an irrelevant thought becloud his mind.
" P'Pai, can we go out today?"
" I wanted to send you back to Earth."
" No, I've only been here a couple of times and I've never really stayed, so can I just this once?"
" What about work?"
" Work can wait and besides I have the CEO of the company with me, I know I'll be fine.
" Where do you want to go?"
" Anywhere with you."
" Let's see everywhere then.'
" Okay."
Rain cringed.

Pai kept his promise he took Sky everywhere. Differently from the other time, they walked hand in hand. He showed him around and the people bowed. Sky felt intimidated. Everywhere they went people knew Prapai, they respected and feared him. Sky initially felt intimidated and wanted to run home but Pai held his hand tightly. They're ess no escaping him. Even in the human realm he was respected. This was the first time Sky saw Prapai's aura. It was amazing. People respecting him because he was close to Prapai. They eventually went to the most popular restaurant in that area. When they entered, everyone bowed. No single head was raised. When they did, the person that serves him came and asked " will you sit on your usual table sir?"
" Yes, but this time around prepare it for two" the lady lifted her head to see a lanky man beside him. She left and did as she was told. All eyes were on Pai and Sky. Pai was not bothered about it, but Sky was feeling it. For the first time in his entire life, he felt less than inferior. Prapai was truly incredible and he was nothing in comparison. He looked around and could see people gossiping, he was sure it was about him. He used the robe and covered his face. While he was bothered about all of this, Pai was only staring at him. Sky was really one gorgeous looking man. He was slender, fair and impossible, impossible to attain. He could feel it, the man in front of him was unreachable by everyone except him. He won his heart and he kept it. Pai couldn't help himself. As Sky covered himself with the robe he finally looked at a man who was lost, so lost he couldn't even see anyone else in the restaurant " Pai? P'Pai? What's wrong? Is there anything on my face?"
" Yes there is."
" What?" As Sky struggled to clean his face
" Handsomeness." He said laughing. Sky tapped him on the shoulder and smiled too
" Sky?"
"Hmmmm?"
" You are breathtaking, do you know that?"
" Hhaahhaahhhaaa don't make me laugh." Pai reached out his hand to remove the hair in Sky's face and arranged it properly. Sky flinched a bit because the action was unexpected.
" Pai, people are watching."
" Who dares look at you?"
" Pai I'm taking about you, no one sees me here."
" Sky, I fight a daily battle to keep you to myself, do you know how difficult that is on its own?"
" Pai stop flattering me."
" Sky, I would never. I would go through anything over and over again just to be by your side. You're stuck to me like this tattoo I have on my back. Sky, I'm addicted, to your scent, your little touches to everything you do." The lady serving the food cleared her throat. She had been there for a while but no one noticed her. They looked up at her with a tray in her hand. They moved so she could place the food on the table. That was how mesmerizing gazing at each other was. Pai was feeling his heart skip several beats. Sky was physically blushing. The lady saw all these and wished she had someone telling her all of these. They had their meal with a lot of teasing. Sky excused himself to use the restroom. When he came out two ladies stopped him. " I see you're fond of The Protector."
" Yes I am."
" Can you give us tips?"
" On what?"
" How to win him over for ourselves, we barely see him outside, you're the first person he brought in here with him ever. Are you from Arityl?" Sky had to think fast, if he said no, it might be suspicious so he quickly answered " yes I am."
" How did you and The Protector become close?"
" It's completed."
" Do you know his name?" This was when it was obvious to Sky,he was really privileged as people didn't even know his name. Sky smiled internally and said proudly " I'll ask him, but I'm not sure he'll tell me.". The girl who was asking the questions grinned and said " I knew it, no one is really his friend to know these informations."
" Sky let's go, you've taken too long, I've paid already." Everyone turned back to see Pai who was impatient that his "friend" was gone for so long. " Yes Phi I'm coming." Sky wasn't going to let them know his name either now he knew that information was exclusive to him. They left the restaurant and it was already dark they both walked together. The heavenly Realm was not a realm that had a true night and day situation it was complicated. Sky could not hide his excitement and asked " P'Pai?"
" Huh?
" How many people know your name?"
" Apart from the ones you know and the council, no one."
" Why is that so?"
" Because I want it that way, to know my name you have to be important to do so."
" But I know it easily."
" Sky doesn't that tell you something?"
" Which is?"
" You're incredibly important to me." Sky lost it. He tried to hide his smile initially but his full face was glowing " you're so fine when you smile."
" I want something else."
" What? Whatever you want you'll get it." Pai said
"Can I ask this great protector to be my boyfriend?"
" Sky?"
" Yes... Faen?" Pai was in a mush. He felt like pudding.
" You're serious?"
" Yes, very. Can you kiss me now, I want to check something."
Pai took his hand and went to an alley away from prying eyes. He gulped first then went in for a kiss. It was so soft and sweet that it left both of them with goosebumps. It's been so long, Sky moved in closed making sure Pai could feel his crotch. Pai felt so aroused by this he didn't stop. That was when he remembered that Sky wanted to check something and he regretfully pulled away. " What do you want to check?" Sky got closer to his ears " in this whole realm and beyond I know now."
" What do you know?" Sky looked deep into his eyes, with no space between them
" I'm the only one who has kissed you. Pai, I'm your first aren't I?
