"Why did they give it to you?" She asked bewildered. This was sacred, untouchable. It was equivalent to marriage. There was no going back for them. Reality hit Priscilla. She plopped to the ground and put her hands on her head, she looked at the two men she had bound by the hands
" It's over isn't it? I never had a chance against you Rain? Even without me inside you, even with me changing my face to yours. I still didn't have a chance. Selling you to be killed, stabbing, I still didn't have a chance. Why? Why? Why does Payu love you. There's nothing special about you. You're not that handsome, not that great, not that pretty, not that friendly, so why you? Why you Rain? Why? I could do anything for Payu kill anyone for him but you you can't even lift a finger for him because he's willing to end the world for you. Why, just why?" She was sobbing loudly. She seemed inconsolable. She finally accepted it, defeat. She stood back up, accepting her fate.
" If I kill you now, what happens?"
" Will there be a war? I'm pretty sure Prapai and Payu would come and tear Carityl down looking for the two of you." Yaya who was beside her said. She had asked Nuea to be part of this but he refused. He wasn't going to be the reason the heavens are angry at him. From the previous encounter with Pai and Payu he was sure that they could topple the heavens for Rain and Sky. He was immortal himself but he knew what he saw. The look Payu gave him. If he has hurt one hair on Rain's body, he was sure that they would kill him and his entire household so when Priscilla came to him to ask for his help, he blatantly refused. There was so much in the world and living was a part of his agenda. There were so many other people, Rain wasn't worth dying for.
Yaya on the other hand saw it at a great opportunity to save face. He felt humiliated by Pai after he tossed the money to his face. If there was a way to defeat Pai, it would be now. He had earlier made a remark that he wanted to sleep with both men to see what Prapai and Payu would do, but hearing this, Priscilla refused. She was... afraid. The items on them was all the confirmation she needed. Pai and Payu were serious about Rain and Sky. Something in her snapped. Jealousy, rage filled her heart, how was she to compete with all this?
Prapai healed quickly and wondered where Sky and Rain were, he ran to the sitting room but Payu was not there, he called on his cell phone but there was no answer. Frustration was on his face. No one was answering their calls. Pai panicked. What he felt earlier was strange and unpleasant and he could only think of the worst. He was scared that something had happened to his beloved.
Payu teleported and saw him.
" Good, you're awake, prepare for war."
" Why? What happened?
" Priscilla has them and she will kill them."
Pai didn't even need to hear the rest of the story. He changed to his robe, so did Payu and went to Carityl. They followed their hearts literally and ended up on the abandoned property that belonged to Priscilla. Her house was quite big as it was home to one of the greatest Protectors that ever lived. Monsters ravaged Carityl and killed them as they died saving the realms. They awarded the service by making Priscilla a protector. She was given the opportunity to choose where she would protect and she chose earth. At the detriment of her friendships.
Payu and Pai recollected that moment and regretted letting her go but they needed to focus now.
Payu got his sword out and they both stepped into the building. They saw Sky and Rain hanging from the ceiling. Their hands tied and their bodies suspended. They were dangling for their dear lives. Their mouths were tied. Payu and Prapai ran and untied them. When the bandaid was removed from their lips, they knew instantly they were not them.
" Where's Rain?" Payu asked the person in front of him.
" Bravo! You finally learnt.". They both turned around to meet Priscilla who was clapping and congratulating them.
" Oh I envy your lovers. Your dedication to them is unlike anything I ever saw. Even giving up your heart for them."
"Where are they?"
" I have done everything for you what more do you want, just forget them."
" Priscilla, I would rip you neck off your body and leave you with nothing but ashes."
"P'Pai why are you so impatient? I won't hurt them. I'm just welcoming you to my humble abode. Do you remember the time we used to play here, growing up and having fun in this compound?"
" I remember, it was the time before you became a psycho and hurt everyone around you."
" Yes I remember so can we go back to that time? When everything was still good and nice?" While she was talking Payu had gone round to the back of the house. That was where he saw Rain and Sky, they weren't tied, just listening to Yaya rant about Prapai. When he noticed him, he wanted to hide behind Sky  but glared at him.
Payu nodded knowingly, he frowned and in that moment he looked intimidating. The people around them cowered in fear. Payu blinked staring directly at Yaya. He took a step forward, and another and another, each step more intimidating than the last. The closer he got the more the people around took a step backwards away from Rain and Sky. Rain had a knowing glint in his eyes. Things were about to get dirty. Yaya pointed a knife at Rain's neck
" I....I ...I will... I will kill..... Him.... now....take a step back...."
" Try it."
" Huh...?"
" I said try it... I dare you." Payu walked towards him. YaYa's hands trembled holding onto the knife. He felt his life flash before his eyes, as much as he wanted to challenge, he definitely was not crazy enough to challenge Payu. Payu then went on a rant
" Because I have become calmer and less active, you a dog wants to match up to me. Touching my sacred things and thinking you can get away with it. I've been lax with you, her in the front and you here. As much as a lion rests, it does not change it's form. You die today."
P'Payu I'm..." Ahhhhhhhh. Payu got to him and ripped out his tongue.
" You won't be able to spew nonsense anymore. I've gotten to my peak. I refused to be insulted anymore. I am Payu, Lord Protector of Arityl. I punish you with death." Before he could plead, he started fading away. It was unusual because an Immortal doesn't die that easily but Payu had pronounced judgement already. He looked around. " Is there anyone else?" Every single person fled the room leaving the three of them.
The bell rang again.
Payu easily got them out of the chains. It was obviously easy for Payu. Rain ran to hug him.
" I'm fine don't ask, thanks for saving me."
Rain was in a hurry. He wanted to kill Priscilla himself. He looked at Payu and said " for you to be in here means you still can't face Priscilla alone. Then I'll do it."
" How?"
Rain stretched out his hand and reached for Payu's sword.
" Give it to me."
" But you can't wield it."
" P'Payu, I have you heart, I can carry anything." Rain took the sword from Payu.
" No one messes with me for too long."
Prapai was fighting against fifteen skilled immortals. Priscilla had learnt summoning and could summon anything. But this was a battle Prapai was willing to win for his loved ones and their safety.
