Chapter 77: A Big Problem

Rain called Payu on his phone several times but he didn't pick up. He ran to the restaurant and saw him, he was pretty occupied serving customers. Rain shouted from across the room
" GO AND FIND P'PAI NOW!"
With the look on Rain's face, Payu knew it was really urgent. He dropped everything in his hand on a table beside him and ran to the door " what's wrong?"
" Sky felt something, P'Pai went back to their house please go, teleport if you have to but get out of here now!"
That was all the information Payu needed as he left the shop, went to a corner and teleported to their house. Priti was about to cut him down by the neck but Payu intercepted him at the last moment. Blocking his sword with his. What ensued next was a battle involving their swords. They both froze time in that vicinity so everyone was still.
Payu looked at Pai on the ground then back at Priti. Priti saw the look Payu had in his eyes. Something was definitely going to happen and he could feel he was in deep trouble. Payu bent his head, like a maniac. There was intent in his eyes, and this intent looked scary. Payu put his sword by his side. He had a averagely long hair which he always put in a bun at the back. Payu took off the band holding his hair and it fell to his face. He was handsome but now there was a glare in his eyes. It was bloodshot. Payu turned his head and it sounded. He cracked his knuckles as well and held his sword properly.  It was indeed fierce. Payu heaved and opened his mouth to speak
" Priti, today you join your ancestors!" He did not stutter. He had intent and this time he was going to kill everyone, one by one. Payu who was always the passive one in everything was indeed fed up. He raised the sword in his hand and said
" Priti... I wish you nothing but death."
Payu charged towards him. Priti ran back a bit. Payu changed his outfit. He meant what his said. Cold ran across Priti's entire body but he felt he had beaten Prapai with a surprise attack and Payu would be easier. Oh was he wrong. As he charged towards him, Payu who was running, flew. Priti in a spilt second tried to raise his sword but was too late. Payu dismemberment him. His hand came off with his sword. Priti looked at his hand on the floor looked back at Payu. " Ahhhhhhhh...... My hand."
Payu reached forward, inches from his face. He stared at his hand which was bleeding profusely and glared at the man who was screaming from what just happened. " Did that hurt?"
Payu said looking at him. He landed on the ground now.
" I should add the second one so the other hand doesn't feel lonely on the floor." Priti could tell he was serious, very serious. He rolled on the floor with a swift movement and got to his sword he used his other hand to get it and ran towards a person who had been frozen. He put a knife on the lady's throat. " If you come any closer, I'll kill her."
" Leave the humans out of this Priti."
" No. This world is mine and it's my jurisdiction. I can do whatever I like."
" Priti, do you see me killing any random person in Arityl because it's my Jurisdiction, STOP THIS NOW!!!"
" NO!" He stabbed her. The knife went through her. She still stood as time was frozen. Unknown to her that she was already dead. Unknown to her that her life was over. And that was how he moved. Priti moved from her to the next. They were close as they looked like friends. Priti killed five persons hoping that Payu doesn't get to him. The bell rang in Arityl and Carityl an Immortal had killed people unjustly. The Lord Council Head Lady was shocked by this. Priscilla saw this as her cue. Payu then smiled " AS A PROTECTOR OF THE IMMORTAL REALM, I HEREBY FIND YOU GUILTY OF BEING A MENACE TO YH PEOPLE YOU CLAIM TO PROTECT. AND I SERVE YOU YOUR JUDGEMENT." That was when it dawned on Priti, he wasn't to kill anyone unjustly or he incurs the wrath of the heavens. Everyone knew this was a rule. Priti had been blinded. Payu walked towards him. And he ran away, tried flying but was unable to. He tried his best to get away from Payu. He saw Rain and Sky coming from the distance. He charged towards them with the last of his ability. Sky saw this and pushed Rain to the ground so he would not be hurt. He turned and faced Priti who stabbed him right through. Sky held his hand. Priti who wanted to move couldn't. Payu stopped on his tracks. This was not the outcome he envisioned. He looked at Priti who looked back at him.
" How aren't you dead."
" You should really get yourself a good boyfriend." Sky threw shade at Priti
"SKY!" Payu shouted heading towards him.
" P'Payu, if you don't stab him now he would get away."
Payu regained his composure and went for Priti's head, slicing it off from his body. The blood splattered all over Sky's face as he looked at him eyeball to eyeball. Priti vanished instantly. The sword disappeared.
" I am so fucking tired of getting stabbed all the time." Falling to the ground. He held his stomach. It hurt but not that much, the necklace was still inside him. But nevertheless it hurt. The world unfroze and the person's fell to the ground. Everyone around there screamed and Payu instantly changed to his real form. He ran back for Pai. Rain was still shaken by all of this.
He looked at Sky.
" Why would you do that?"He asked
" I would save you a thousand times over and not budge once. You're my best friend." They both had tears in their eyes as Rain lifted up Sky and took him back to the car. Payu held Prapai and they vanished back to his apartment where he laid him down to heal.
" I'm so glad I got there in time fuen. I can't lose you, never. After all we've been through." Payu broke down and sobbed for his friend. Prapai had been all he had known since his childhood all he had learnt to love. They would protect each other and now they had others too, they would protect them too. Payu didn't even move as he started healing Pai's injuries.
The police arrived at the scene and saw five dead bodies. They cleaned up and began investigation. But no one remembered anything, even the people who stood with them. Absolutely nobody.
Payu kept healing Pai. It was a tedious process but when he noticed he had gotten somewhere he rested. He was exhausted overall. It was getting dark and Rain and Sky had not gotten here. It was a thirty minutes drive but it had been three hours. Before Payu could go and pick up his phone, he felt a tingle in his heart that got stronger. They were in trouble because even Pai woke up.
" Why the hell would Payu and Prapai give the both of you their heart core? Why?"
Priscilla asked. She had caused an accident just to retrieve Sky and Rain, but could perceive they had immortal DNA in them. Things were about to get very messy.
