Sky sat in his room waiting patiently for Prapai. His eyes felt dizzy but he walked around the room for sometime. He waited for two hours before he eventually gave up and went to sleep.
By morning Prapai was lying by him, fully clothed and all. Sky was upset. He faced Prapai who was deeply asleep. He wanted to wake him but saw eyebags under his eyes. He pecked his forehead and went to take a shower. It was morning already and he needed to get to work. They had a company dinner the next day so they had to plan for it as it was one that involved major share holders. He knew Prapai was to be in attendance as it was his company. Sky made breakfast again and left the house. He didn't understand what was going on with Prapai but he knew there would be an answer for it as Prapai was not one to be unreasonable especially with anything that has to do with Sky. The meeting lasted for quite a long time and Sky was tired. He wanted to return home but he had to check the venue, arrangement and made sure everything would be a success. By the time he got back home, it was late. He yawned loudly as he got into the house. He called for Prapai but there was no answer. He checked the kitchen and he prepared a much grander meal for him. Sky ate happily. He had missed his cooking and was slowly forgetting what it tasted like. When he was done, he went upstairs and checked Prapai. He noticed his door was slammed shut again. Sky was beginning to get concerned. He went to his room, bathed and wore something more comfortable and knocked on Prapai's door " P'Pai, are you okay, should I come in?"
The silence was loud " P'Pai, I might misunderstand, so can you talk to me." Sky's voice was lower now. He just didn't know what to think. What if he was worried about having sex. Sky thought about it and knocked on the door again and said " don't think I want anything, I just want to cuddle." Sky could hear the desperation in his own voice and get hated it. He sounded needy and that was not him at all. He closed his eyes and after contemplating for some time , he went back to his room. He felt so lost. Sky who was known to be an homebody changed his outfit took the car and left the house. He headed straight to Payu's house. Immediately he arrived. He knocked on the door bell so consecutively that Payu thought it was a criminal. It was really late as it was and Rain was sound asleep. He headed for the door, opening it, he grabbed Sky by the neck. On realizing who it was, he quickly let him go and apologized. Sky didn't even say anything and let himself in. He looked at Payu, who was shirtless. He stared at him for a long time which make Payu uncomfortable and asked him to stop. Sky closed his eyes and opened them, collecting all his thoughts before he spoke.
" You're P'Pai's best friend so you know him far better than I do. I'm sure you're also well aware of what's going on with him ."
" I don't understand what you're saying Sky." He turned away averting Sky's eyes. Sky chuckled
" So you do know what's going on so tell me what it is and I'll be out on my jolly way." Payu was mute. Sky was adamant. He wasn't going to leave without an answer. Rain who was sleepy came down to see a shirtless Payu. He ran to cover him with his hands " Sky , you're not allowed to look at him." Sky sneered at him
" I can never be interested in your man ever. He's not my type."  For some reason Rain took offense in this statement and said. " He's everyone's type, why not yours? He's perfect. I think you have a problem with your eyes." Payu was deeply flattered by this while Sky was flabbergasted and responded " maybe I'm not interested because he's yours okay. Now can you please ask your beloved to tell me why Prapai is acting the way he is."  Rain turned to look at Payu who was behind him. " What's going on?". He asked confused. Payu turned to him then looked at Sky and said. " It's best you ask him. He'll be in a better place to tell you, because I can't. I don't even know what to say."  Sky felt his entire body weaken. If Payu was unaware, then whatever it was must be really serious he thought. He left, thanking Payu and ran out of the house and went into the car. He was tired but knew he had to head back home. By the time he arrived it was 3am in the morning. He quickly went back to his room and stayed awake for a while. He heard Prapai's door open. He pretended like he was asleep. Prapai stepped in and fell flat on the bed beside Sky. He sounded like he had a smile on his face as he said in a whisper thinking Sky was asleep " you're worth it."  Then it clicked. Whatever was happening, Sky knew it involved him. Curiosity was killing him but he had to be patient.
The next day was the event which started by 6pm. Prapai came in with Sky looking incredibly good. It was a grand hotel. They both greeted everyone who came and for the first time, Prapai acted like the CEO. Greeting the guests, welcoming them, and talking Business. Sky had briefed him about everything and everyone, so he was well aware. The party didn't last didn't very long but a lot of the participants ended up drunk. Prapai took Sky back to the room they reserved. Sky pretended to be dizzy and immediately he lay on the bed, he slept off. Prapai started to feel the pains so he separated himself and fell to the ground and was writhing in pain. He was sweating profusely. Sky turned around and stood up from the bed to look at him. He froze. Laying on the floor was Prapai who was bleeding.

Are you willing to take any punishment to keep him alive?"
" Yes I am, I'll do anything."
" Prapai, are you sure?
" Yes I am, bring Sky back to me."
" Your punishment is as follows, Protector Prapai, for three months , you lose your abilities. Every night, you die a different death. The death of the ones you killed Prapai. Is Sky really worth it now?" It was a difficult decision, if Prapai died in any part of this three months. He would fade away. He thought about this decision so much that he could barely breath. He closed his eyes, pictured Sky and took his decision. " Yes, Yes I will.
