Chapter 29: Back To Your Heart

Prapai took the cuts to his body suffering everything. He ended up in the dream realm. Here, only his testament could save him.
In this place, people have come and died because their testaments were never good enough. Prapai was determined as saving Sky was all he needed to face the owner of Dreams. When he appeared in front of him, the Dream owner looked bored. He didn't seem one bit interested in what Prapai had to say and went back to drinking his tea.
" Dream Lord, I'm here with a request I want you to..."
" Be powerful, rule over the realms, kill and make alive, be wealthy, although I think you already are. Whatever you're here for, I know it already, so state your business and leave."
The Dream Lord said as he turned around to leave. His mind was made up. Prapai heaved as he went on his knees and said
" I want you to save someone." The Dream Lord turned to face him. He dropped the sword in his hand as he was unsure of what he had just heard
" What did you say?" Picking the sword up from the ground
" I want you to save someone. He got stabbed by me mistakenly. I know my sword is just for killing, but this time it was the one most dear to me. I would do anything if you save him." The Dream Lord laughed and went to his throne. He sat down. Prapai still kneeling was waiting for him to speak.
" You said you can do anything for him. What about if I tell you to spend a thousand years here, would you do it?"  Prapai thought about it a bit and said
" It's fine with me, but you have to do something for me."
" And what will that be?" The Dream Lord who thought Prapai was bluffing smirked to his idea
" When he's better, I'd like his memories gone. He can't go back to his new life with memories of me. Searching for me, he would die of a heartbreak, so it would be better he forgets. I'll be the one carrying our love with me."
The Dream Lord looked at Prapai stunned. In his many years of guarding this realm. No one had ever wanted to go this far for another, wanting to sacrifice their existence for another person. Prapai had stunned him, some had lived but here Prapai was willing to sacrifice all he had for another. The Dream Lord pushed his button even further by asking
" And if I kill you." Prapai didn't hesitate by answering " I die."
There was absolute silence. The Dream Lord felt he was losing to Prapai. It wasn't a competition but for some reason, he felt defeated. He had never met anyone willing to die to give up for another.
" Why? Why would you go this far for someone you met two years ago? it doesn't make sense."
" Because I love. There's no other reason. Sky is everything, and If I find myself here tomorrow, I'll make the same choice."
" Prapai, you have lived for close to one thousand years, you can't be taking your life so trivially, at least not for a human."
"The human, is worth my one thousand years. I'll give it all up."
The Dream Lord finally stood up, walked close to Prapai and whispered " are you sure he's worth it?"
" I've never been more sure about anything in my entire life. Sky is worth it."
" Fine. I'll grant your request, on one condition..." Prapai listened and without hesitation accepted. He knew how painful the condition was going to be for three months, but he was going to bear it. Sky was worth it. He returned to the chamber in Carityl. He wore his clothes and ran upstairs to find only his servant there. He knew days had past as the dream realm was the fastest realm " how long have I been gone for."
" Three days sir."
" I have to return him home before he wakes up."
" Sir?"
" Yes?"
" I know the Dream Lord, I've heard stories, what did you give up sir?"
" It's not important. As far as my lover is fine."
" Sir, it's okay to be in love, but whatever it is you sacrificed, I hope it doesn't cost you everything."
" Even if it does, Sky is worth it."
He choked up a bit, cleared his voice and continued " I've sacrificed so much for everyone, giving up everything for everyone. The one thing I want, the only person I desire the universe doesn't want me to have him. Is it fair? Is it really fair? To answer you, Yes I took the punishment because I want happiness; No I deserve it. He gives it to me." Prapai carried Sky in his hand and vanished with him leaving his servant behind who sat on the bed huffing.
" I hope he gives you what I've always wanted you to have, Peace."
Prapai returned Sky to his house. He placed his hand on his mouth after putting Sky on his bed to sleep. All the memories rushed back. He was finally with the one he loved. Finally with the one that made him happy. He left the room lay on his own bed and sobbed. He was with the one he loved. He checked several times in the night to make sure Sky was still there, even going further to touch him

Payu had an entire dilemma of his own as Rain only saw him as the handsome stranger who saved him. The next morning, Rain took Payu along with him to get a new lock for his door, he called the company and laid a complaint. Rain was also worried about Payu's safety as he asked them to protect Payu from the hooligan. When they left the station after making their statement, Rain sat on a bench outside the station and told Payu to sit as well. Then he spoke with a heavy heart " I guess it's my fault, I never really loved him with my whole heart to give him a share in my Restaurant." Payu hearing this flared up
" HE WANTED A SHARE IN OUR RESTAURANT, IS HE MAD?"
" Our Restaurant?"
" Opss sorry, I just got so worked up with your story, continue."
" I liked him a lot, but I just found it wrong." Payu desperately wanted to touch him, hug him, tell him everything was okay as he reached out his hand to pat his back. Rain looked up at him " I feel like I know you, but I don't so can I make a request."
"Sure, what,?"
" Can I get a hug?" Payu felt electricity literally pass through his body. His hands were opened as Rain put his two hands under his. Payu smelt his love. He scented incredible. He could feel his heart beat faster. Rain on the other hand was feeling weird. He was hugging a person for the first time and for an unknown reason, it felt familiar. He quickly broke it off. And cleared his throat. " We have so many stops to make." Payu had to practically follow Rain everywhere till he was able to get everything that was broken replaced. Payu was hungry and tired, while Rain was whiney. Payu loved it, he was finally close to his beloved. Eventually Rain took him to his restaurant. Payu forgot himself and hugged P'Tai who looked stunned until Payu remembered they didn't know each other and said " I wanted to remove the dust on your shirt, sorry I slipped." He composed himself again. Seeing Rain, a thought crossed his mind
