Chapter 45: Reverse

" Khun Pai, you're a coward, you keep proving this over and over again. Am I that easy for you? I've asked you this before and I'll ask again. You keep going back and forth with me. What do you actually want, because I can't keep hurting like this. P'Pai, you're said to be the less level headed one in your group. Can you stop doing this to me?
" Sky love can't be stopped."
" P'Pai, you love me."
" But I don't anymore."
" Fine, tell me to my face then, Pai tell me you don't love me anymore. Say Sky, I hate you. I'll believe you then."
" Sky... I... I... hate.... This isn't fair."
" And you think what you're doing is? I got kidnapped, taken out of town, jumped out of the car I was in, broke my hand in the process, just to get back to you and you're opening your mouth to tell me, you're getting married. P'Pai, how stupid does that sound?
" Sky you're not worth my time."
P'Pai turned to leave then Sky said " Just tell me you don't love me anymore just say it, so it would be easier for me."
" I don't care."
" Fine, I have a condition."
" What is it?"
" You can't leave. I want to see you prove to me that you're no longer in love with me give me three days before you leave."
" Is that your only condition to let me go?"
" Yes."
" Fine."
Sky stepped back, picked up his keys and went to the door.
" Where are you going?" Prapai asked." You're not supposed to care, remember?"
Sky walked out the door, his heart to his chest.His stomach twisted and churned. He quickly got into the car and drove off. He went straight to his office got to his toilet and vomited. He felt congested. He held his shirt collar so he could breath. Sky cried. Pai had healed the wounds on his body but the one in his heart remained. He knew exactly what to do to get a reaction out of P'Pai. It was just a simple step but he couldn't wrap his head around why he was doing this to him. He left the office and drove over to Rain's house.
Rain looked intensely at the man who was breaking him to pieces. He didn't know what he was going to do next as his confused face and brain could not bring out a reaction. He did the unthinkable and went down on his knees
" P'Payu, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have overreacted before, I didn't know that was your breaking point. Please give me one more chance. I promise to love you, take care of you, no Payu I'm already in love with you. Don't do this please. Teerak (darling) please." Payu had been with Rain for the longest of time, but never once had he called him teerak. Was it the fact that he was losing him or the fact that he actually has felt this way for a very long time. Payu was curious. This has been what he wanted to hear for a very long time but Rain never said it. He derailed a bit and asked " Rain, do you even love me?" This was not how he wanted to find out, but he couldn't help it. Rain stood up from the ground looked Payu in the eye and said
" Of course I do. I wouldn't sleep with you if I didn't. I wouldn't call for you if I didn't. So stop this nonsense, eh P'Payu."
" Rain, you can't always have it your way. It's time to let past feelings go, I don't feel the same for you anymore."
" In two days? P'Payu, make that make sense to me? Because it just doesn't."
" Well people fall out of love all the time."
" Those are people, not you."
Rain could see he was giving him a hard time so he resolved to fate, went inside, took the clothes he had in his apartment and left.
Payu fell down like a mountain that had been blown up. He felt his heart fail him. Just then he heard a knock on the door. It was Sky. He cleaned his tears and went to open the door. Sky saw him, with no explanation needed said " just stay away from Rain. The both of you can be very heartless and cruel when you need to be." And he shut the door. He went straight upstairs and saw Rain about to open his door he called for him and they both entered. Sky slept there as he couldn't return home.
The next day, Sky went back to the house and wore a dapper suit and came out. Prapai looked at the handsome man who thought it was a good idea to spray the perfume that drove Pai mad in the living room. He went close to the area he was to grab water. Pai was losing badly. The desire to touch him greatly outweighed the one that asked him to break up. He was losing. He put his hands on his nose to block the smell. Sky left the house. He went to pick up Rain. This was their last resort. It was in the evening.  Sky kissed Rain on the neck to leave a mark and Rain did the same. They ruffled up their clothed and went back home. They took just a shot of alcohol and smeared the rest on their clothes and returned home. Rain took a detour to Payu's room, pretending he was heavily drunk. Payu would toss him out if he no longer cared, and he would act like he couldn't remember. Rain knocked on Payu's door loudly, banged and banged till he opened. He went inside holding Payu by the waist " teerak, hi." He flailed around a bit. Payu held him close to prevent him from falling. " How did you get the hickey?" Rain found this ridiculous as there were so many things he could have worried about but that shouldn't be first.
"You don't love me anymore, so I was looking for someone who did. He just kissed me and that was it." Rain said pretending to be drunk.
" So you go around kissing random strangers?"
" Would you kiss me instead?"
" Rain you wouldn't remember this by tomorrow."
" Then kiss me." Payu did not hesitate as he went in for the kiss. Rain was flabbergasted. For a person who didn't love him, he kissed him hungrily. Payu stopped himself half way and thought it would be horrible to kiss someone who despised him already but it was Rain.
Sky returned back to the house singing an old tune. He went straight to Pai's room opened the door and shouted " I made out with him and it was so good." Pai was supposed to act uninterested but he forgot and shouted "who?"
" Fragile's CEO." He said this smiling. Prapai jumped out of his bed went straight to Sky and wiped his mouth aggressively.His possessive side came out. Sky tried to stop him but he was too focused on what he was doing till Sky bled. Seeing this, he stopped in his tracks " I'm sorry."
Sky got the answer he wanted. He stepped back and said
"I'll be gone for two hours, make sure there is nothing left from you before I return.  I can't deal with you anymore. I don't want to see your clothes, your scent should be gone. Pai, I can't live like this. I can't live with your torturing me please leave. Go and get married, do whatever you want just get out of my sight. I also want a compensation."
"For what?"
" Impromptu Heartbreak."
" And what do you want as compensation?"
" Your company. At this point I don't care if you call me a gold digger but I need to be compensated one way or another. I can't..."
" Take it, the company, the car, the house, everything. "
" Good." Sky was holding back tears.
" I'm not returning to Earth anymore." Sky staggered at this. Pai continued.
" Since everything with you is done, there's no point in me staying here."
" P'Pai, get lost!" Sky said slamming the door to Pai's face. he left to his room and shut the door. He sat down on the floor. He just couldn't wrap his head around everything that was happening. He immediately regretted his action and ran to the next room to meet Pai. It was empty. The smell, everything was gone. Sky shouted " NOOOOO!!!" as he crouched to the ground. He needed to see Payu, maybe things were different on that end. It just had to be.
Payu pushed Rain away. He apologized. He was in trouble and was not going to put Rain in harm's way. " I sever all ties with you."
" P'Payu what are you saying? I'm sorry, okay it wouldn't happen again, don't leave."
Payu took a pill and put in Rain's mouth forcing him to swallow it. He turned his back and vanished. Rain cleaned off the lipstick stain " it's fake, please come back."
As Sky left the house, he went straight to Rain's house but he stopped in his tracks. He looked across to see Rain cleaning an empty restaurant. Sky ran to him. Rain didn't even notice that Sky was there infront of him. He just continued cleaning. Sky spoke
" Ai Rain, what's the matter?"
" I have to open tomorrow and clean up..."
" What about Payu?"
" He's... He... He said that... He said that he...can't take care of  my self centered self anymore, so he is stopping. Sky, he's gone. Did you find P'Pai?"
" Yes."
" Aaannnnddd?"
" I told him to leave."
" You did what?"
" He said he's getting married."
" What did you say?
" It's okay, I took all his earthly possessions from him."
" Sky, were you that calm, because I knelt down throwing away my pride for Payu, but he didn't mind and told me to get lost after shoving a pill down my throat. Sky they've left us. My love is gone."
" Rain... can I cry here?"
" Sure." Rain went out and closed the shop blocking out everyone from seeing inside. Sky sniffled loudly initially then began to sob. Rain went to the kitchen and stayed there letting his friend cry. Sky who was not one to cry out, sobbed like child. He was inconsolable. His eyes were red and his nose was running.
" Why do I always have to be strong? Why didn't I kneel down and beg him shamelessly? Why didn't I kiss his legs and beg him to love me? Would he have stayed? Wait wait does that mean I'll never see P'Pai again? No...it doesn't make sense." Sky went to meet Rain in the kitchen and asked " who's threatening them?"
" How do you know that? Sky they got tired and left."
" Together? Together Rain? Payu would up and leave you just like that? That man would take several bullets for you. Prapai was willing to die for me, just to be fine. I call bullshit."
" Sky? I know you're bad at break up but this is just ridiculous."
" Rain wake up. P'Payu would never, even if a gun was to his head, end things with you. Whatever the stake was. The only time I'm sure they would go this far, is if it relates to us."
" So what should we do?"
" That's not the question Rain."
" So what is the question?"
" What did the other person's tell them. Rain, I think the person doing this isn't one to play with."
" How do you know?"
" Prapai told me he's getting married in Carityl."
" WHAT?"
" Exactly, how stupid does that sound? If he had constructed the lie better, I would have let it go. But I was in the hospital for a two days,got discharged in the evening and all of a sudden P'Pai is getting married. Rather than being sad, I'm angry, and when this is all over, I'll beat the crap out of him."
" Sky, why are you so confident?"
" Rain, shouldn't you be too? P'Payu is not that kind of person. Even if he was, I'm sure there are limits."
" But everything I said?"
" I saw Priscilla"
" IN MY DREAM!" They both echoed it.
" I know what to do." they both hugged each other and went home. Sky stayed in Pai's room for days on end crying bitterly. His love was gone. Rain on the other hand worked tirelessly so he would forget quicker.
A week passed by and there was nothing, they had really left.
Both boys minds were made up. Love wasn't for them and would never find them. They were really cursed to be unhappy.
