Chapter 91: Getting Him Back

Sky went with the secretary to the building. To his utmost surprise the house was well furnished and arranged. Sky froze on entry. It was much better than he had hoped for. It was a nice apartment. His mouth was agape the whole time that he thought he was dreaming. The car that came with it was something that even if he worked his whole life time he won't still be able to get it. Why was his boss being so nice to him. He didn't even know his name or anything but he was willing to go these lengths for him. He needed answers and he was going to get them. He playfully moved close to the secretary who was inspecting everything and taking notes of what was there and what was missing. Sky smiled and said to him " uhmmm... You seem like you do this a lot. I'm pretty sure the boss does this for all of his employees." The secretary didn't answer and continued with what he was doing. When he was done, he made a call to Pai and listed the things he needs " a new set of clothes... Products... Food items to fill the fridge..." The list was endless. Sky thought it was a joke and he was dreaming. These things were not part of the agenda and he thought they only meant necessities not an entire change of his life. When the secretary finished from the call. He turned to look at Sky and said " never! He has never done this for anyone. I got an apartment but not a car, or all the other things I listed for. You probably saved a country or the world in your previous life to be given this amount of luxury. The boss is given you four hours to go home, pack the things that you need and return back here before the other people arrive."
"Which other people?"
" The boss, he'll be back later to inspect everything in place. He has approved for everything to be bought so by the time you get back everything should be in order." Sky was pushed out and given a key to return hours later. The car key was still in his hand. He contemplated following a bus but had to defer that option and used the car. He called Rain several times but for some reason his number was switched off. He sent messages to him and explain his situation. He went home to tell his mother. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. He showed her the proof
" Does he like you perchance?"
" I don't think so though, he doesn't even seem a bit interested in me. I feel like a disappointment." Sky's mum hugged him tighter. He closed his eyes and felt at peace. He was really going through it. Eventually he was encouraged by his mom " see everything as a great opportunity and be happy about it. Look at the brighter side, good things come to those who wait, now it's your turn, grab it with both hands, okay?"
" Okay"
" Still be careful okay?"
" Yes ma"
Sky left and went back home to pack up. Everything he needed he was able to carry. And left to the house. He drove in circles because he had forgotten where the place was located. When he eventually did and went up with his belongings, he saw his boss waiting at the door. He quickly ran to open the door. Prapai who cold hear his heart beat had to calm down so he could say logical things.
" So do you like the place?" Sky being unfiltered said " don't you think you're doing too much for a no body. If I was the one doing all this I'd clearly be in love with the person." All he thought was he said it in his mind. But Pai heard it all. He put the bag on his hand down. His eyes widened to the fact that his mouth just said that.
" I'm sorry it..."
" No it's fine. I want competence from you that's all, feel free."
" Can I really feel free to say what I want?"
" You'll be working really closely with me and it would be unfair if I don't get to know you really well. How will I be comfortable."
" Okay, can I make you something to eat then to appreciate you for everything you've done for me?"
" Sure. But don't take it too seriously I'm just being nice"
Sky never really knew how to make good meals previously so he was shocked that he made a delicacy for his boss.
" How did you learn how to cook?"
" What?"
" The food tastes really nice, didn't think you'll be able to cook."
" I have a mom. She taught me."
Sky didn't have one previously so it was quite telling. Prapai saw obvious changes and was so glad. Sky lived happily now and said his mind more freely, the meal was filled with back and forth banter till Sky asked
" What's your name?"
" It's Prapai, Khun Pai to you."
" Do you want to fuck me?"
Pai coughed loudly
" What?
" You heard me. No meaningful human would do what you just did for nothing so do you want to sleep with me?"
" No I don't."
" Your secretary said you have never done this for anyone else so why me."
" I just want to, can't I ?
" Sure you can, but no strings attached right?"
" Of course not. I'm just doing this because... Because..."
" You have no reason right? I have that effect on people.
He said proudly
" For them to give you cars and houses."
" Just you then, I have that effect on you." They both laughed. It was getting pretty late but Pai wanted to stay longer. It was Sky after all, his Sky. He reluctantly went back home.
For these weeks straight Sky was glued to Pai at the hem. They were inseparable. If Pai was in his office, Sky would be there as well. Prapai went everywhere with him except it was necessary to take his secretary. They both saw it differently. Sky was stressed out while Pai was overjoyed. Sky saw Pai more than anyone else even his mom recently, he was always taking care of him. He felt so small in comparison. But something was happening to Sky and Rain that they didn't understand. This two men felt familiar as they had both dreamt of them.
They had a team dinner to welcome Sky. It was quite memorable. He tried not to drink very much not to overdo it. But Pai nodded for him to do so.  When the night was over. Sky knew Prapai would take him home so he was okay , shouting and dancing happily. He was  staggering and the rest. After the dinner, they were both the last two to go, Sky was already resting on the table. Prapai eventually took him home carrying him bridal style into the house. He took him to the bedroom and left him there. Thinking Sky was passed out , Pai began to pour out his heart " I'm so happy to see you again. You are my everything and in the smallest way I'm happy to take care of you." He patted his head and was about to leave till Sky opened his eyes shocking him.
Sky had pretended to drink a lot. He poured the drinks on the floor when he saw no one was looking. Something had been bothering him and he needed confirmation.
" So tell me who are you and why do you like me so much. P'Pai I need the Truth.
" P'Pai?"
" Isn't that what I used to cal you, why are you surprised huh..."
