Chapter 74: Making It Right

" so how does this come to play?" Yaya asked.
" Well,the guilt of knowing that their friend killed their boyfriends family would be what would trigger them to eventually end the relationship, knowing they are unworthy of the love they are giving. I win, they lose. I get my man back." Priscilla grinned.
" I'm not sure after all of this is over you'll be able to get your man back. You'll most likely end up with you head on a chopping block."
" No, Payu still loves me."
" Keep being delusional then."
" Just wait and see."
" I will. So what's the plan?"
" We have to lure them out, but I have no idea how, so we just wait. They'll definitely show up."

In Hawaii, it was a game of strength and tenacity. They both forgot everything that was happening around them taking their time to understand each other in and out. This was Rain's best part, Payu completely allowing him to do whatever he wanted no matter what it was. He was going to cover him, protect him and help him. Rain made him so happy and safe. This trip made Payu realize he made the right choice with Rain and he wouldn't have had it any other way. Rain was just perfect and worth it, he was a bit naive and careful but that was what made him the best candidate. He didn't have to do anything. There was nothing incredible great about Rain but he was Payu's choice and he stuck to it. Rain was a breath of fresh air, a relief. There didn't need to be a reason why he was so in love with him. He just was. Rain on the other hand was skeptical. Payu gave him a necklace that could appear and disappear on command. With the thought that it could protect them and their hearts were in it. He picked up a phone and called Sky, they did a video call. Rain sneakily moved away from Payu and told Sky to do the same as they needed to talk business.
" You know this bracelet and necklace things are bullshit right?"
" I know but I'm too scared to ask  what they sacrificed for it. I think I would be too broken if I find out. Let alone the mind reading?"
" What mind reading?"
" The fact I'm able to read Payu's mind. He said  I wore the necklace wrongly but I know he's trying to read my mind."
" I can't read Pai's mind so that means he can read mine, that explains two nights back he was just..."
" Just what Sky? Did he break your back?"
" Rain focus"
" What, it's not like we have the most amazing men be proud and brag."
" It's because we have the most amazing men that's why we are about to get killed remember?"
" Yes I do but it's so nice you know, I've always bragged about P'Payu but now I think about it, if I was Priscilla I'd be fuming too."
" Right... hahahaha you threw away the potential of having two amazing men at your beck and call because of revenge."
" But we should be thankful to her too."
" Yes, we got them because she slipped.... Hahahaha."
" Sky, I miss you though, not Prapai but you."
" I miss you too Rain and I hope that when we return we would be stronger than we were."
" Of course, we have solid men behind us. Sky what do we do about the jeweleries?"
" Nothing for now. Let's just enjoy our trip."
" Clearly you're enjoying yours. It's all over your body."
" What is?
" Hickeys." Sky was really pale so it was very visible where had been sucked. He tried covering it up but it was already seen so there was no need. The friends just teased each other.
" And tell your vampire of a boyfriend that you're human too."
" I'm proud."
" And so am I. Don't get pregnant before you get back?"
" Ai Sky!"
" Bye Rain. I need to make sure my neck is completely covered."
" See you later, have fun."
" I have to because returning, we have a battle to fight."
" Say hi to P'Pai and tell he should have mercy on you."
" Same goes for P'Payu. Bye Rain and be safe."
Rain returned to Payu who was well dressed waiting for him. They had to go on a date. Rain got changed too and they went out. It was quite comfortable till Rain realized how much peace he was actually having.
" This is so nice, I wished or relationship was given the opportunity to be enjoyed this way."
" Rain, I promise I'll make it safe for you, I'll make it all okay."
" No thank you."
" Huh... Why?"
" I'll feel too at ease, that's more scary." That was when it dawned on Payu that they had never truly had calm like they were having now, since the start of the relationship till now, it was one issue or another.
" I'll make sure it becomes really safe for you."
" I know it will but now let's just make do with what we have."
" I love you Rain."
" I know, you tell me everyday."
" I don't think It would even be enough if I told you every second."
" P'Payu?"
" What?"
" Nothing I'll tell you when we get back." They had a relaxing dinner and headed back home. Payu opened the door for him and they both went in. Rain looked at Payu, kisses him " thanks for the dinner."
" You're welcome, so what did you want to tell me earlier?"
Rain went to the bed and sat down, he motioned for Payu to sit beside him which he did.
" P'Payu, I'm a bit scared."
" Okay, talk to me." He moved closer to Rain and placed one hand on his head, like a comforting hand that meant, I'm right here, talk to me.
" So all this time we've been together, I recently told you about my family, how I love them so much but never met them. You're the first person who was so genuine to me. You, Sky and P'Pai came in to make my life memorable. It had been the best couple of years with you, opening me to a world of so many things and I'm grateful for. But what if one day I wake up and fine out it was all a dream, or worse still you never existed and I imagined all off this again. Phi, I think I'll lose my mind because I won't be able to take it. I love you, so much but my inability to come up to meet you scares me. And what if we lose, what if we lose to her what happens then."
" Rain, we won't lose. Maybe because you've spent so much time with me you've forgotten when I'm capable of, I'm actually strong you know."
" Yes I know, very well, so live, let's live."
" Rain, I promise you with my life that nothing would happen to you and I'll always come back to you."
" Is that why you gave me a part of your life?" The room fell silent
" How many years of your immortality is in here? I know your kind die. The only one that doesn't is  the Lord Council Head Lady."
" How did you know?"
" Priscilla told me."

Sky stood by the mirror about to shave. He looked up at face and applied the foam. He was so absent minded that it was after he cut himself he realized he did.
What was really happening to him today, after the call with Rain he wasn't quite himself. He felt flushed. He continued shaving till he was done and got out of the bathroom. He got to the bed and lay down. Pai was looking at the sights from their window. When he saw Sky had returned, he went back inside.
" Are you okay?"
Sky sat up looked at Pai.
" What happened?"
" I got cut in the shower"
" Are you okay."
" P'Pai, I don't feel so good."
" Is my heart rejecting you?"
